audio version of the segment here > Two federal judges refuse to release the Epstein grand jury files
We assumed this was coming: one of the two leftists of the New York federal judges who control the grand jury testimony of the Jeffery Epstein and Gheslaine Maxwell trials has refused to release them.
It's the expected ruling for a few reasons- one of which is ‘they’re New York lefties who aren’t about to cooperate with the Trump DOJ’....
But the second of which is- it’s very rare to have grand jury testimony released publicly. It’s sequestered off and kept secret for numerous reasons.... including protecting the innocent. Protecting the witnesses. Etc.
And so, I’ve been assuming that both judges will say no. Yesterday, it was the judge who led over the Gheslaine Maxwell trial.
Even so-his refusal contained a ‘win’ of sorts for the Trump White House and DOJ.
So, this is a left-wing federal judge out of New York- who would probably love to ‘sting trump’ in some way...and/or make a name for himself by embarrassing Trump if he could...
And even he.... has reviewed this material and publicly agrees with Alan Dershowitz and David Shoen...who are Jeffrey Epstein’s former attorneys...and both say we’ve seen everything that the federal govt and these files have on Epstein...and there are simply no revelations that remain a secret. There’s no client list. There are no additional names of famous men who these women were trafficked to. Any credible accusations linked to famous people and billionaires have already been put out in public.
There’s nothing new to learn.
It ‘meant something’ coming from Dershowitz and Shoen-as Epstein’s attorneys- given that Epstein is dead and they have zero reason to protect him-
And it means even more- if you ask me- coming from the federal judge who sat atop the case and has just reviewed the grand jury files of it you won’t find anything new here.
Folks-
This judge is literally saying: the DOJs claim that this will shed light on the case is flat out wrong. I’ve looked-and there is nothing new or ‘secret’ in these files... And so, I am going to follow the standard and ‘long time’ procedure when it comes to keeping them sealed to protect the innocent...protect the witnesses...etc.
To me? If you get past the headline on this story -that ‘the judge won’t aide trump by releasing these files’... It’s really a story that ...yet again clears Trump and adds to the narrative that ‘we already have the truth, here’.
There is no secret global pedophile ring that we aren’t being told about...etc.
We’ve also recently had Gheslaine Maxwell’s own attorney say that she has no dirt on president trump to smear him with. The nine-hour interview that she did with the dept of justice about a week ago resulted in nothing new...etc.
There simply isn’t any scandal here.
And the American people must also believe that-because the other big news related to this Epstein story this week is-
Gee- the American people are already ‘past it’, and so if the democrats were certain this was going to be a great issue for them next fall...it quickly petered out on them about 14 months early.
Listen to Harry Enten- the data guy over at CNN...who’s already calling this attempt to reinvigorate the Epstein scandal...a dud.
We knew that no one outside of NY or DC cared about this Epstein bologna. We’ve been saying it for weeks. Here’s your proof.
It’s another ‘dead end’ for today’s desperate democrats, who keep looking for the ‘next big thing’ to smear Donald Trump with.
And it’s happening as this guy- Trump- is turning himself into a legend.
I ran out of time to get to this yesterday, but I was saying.... We are just six months into Trump’s second term-and some insiders and historians are already starting to talk about trump as being at least as consequential a president as Ronald Reagan was. In fact, we had the great mark levin on the show Friday-and he said- if trump can really change the culture and the political trajectory of this country as much as he seems to be-and it sticks-
Well, then we will have lived thru the most consequential US president since Lincoln.
Levin is nearly ready to dub Trump ‘second only to Abraham Lincoln’...my friends.
And if that’s the case-you wonder what the average democrat voter in this country is really ‘seeing’ or ‘thinking’ here.
I ran a clip from pollster Frank Luntz- who is not a Trump fan.
And he was warning Trump-haters not to buy into this relentless left-wing narrative that trump’s second term is failing here.
Luntz said: if you are existing in that left-wing bubble and if you think this is going badly for trump...I’ve got to tell yah....you’re believing a false narrative.
He said- the truth is- Trump voters are celebrating the wins and starting to think of trump as a truly historic president if he can keep this up over the next two years....as you bitter haters are trying to sooth yourselves with ‘manufactured hate’ and the claim that ‘this is already going badly for Trump. His voters are abandoning him.’
Luntz said- they’re not. They are saying ‘this is what we voted for’.
And by the way- CNN’s Harry Enten is already talking in terms of ‘trump is the most consequential president’ in ages...etc.
