It turns out that the Trump Dept of Justice has been working on mortgage fraud cases against both senator Adam Schiff-and NY attorney general Letitia James for weeks now-
And the ‘news’ is that those have been turned over to a special prosecutor.
Fantastic.
And even better: Pam Bondi and the DOJ have also moved a civil case against Letitia James related to her abusing her power and violating Donald Trump’s civil rights in the process.
Fan….Tastic.
It’s going to be fun to see how these proceed, but I hope it leads to convictions in all three cases-because it was Adam Schiff, more than any other single democrat, who kept the Russia collusion smears going against trump.
For years, he was pretending as if he, in his ‘special committee’ had all sorts of information on Trump colluding with Russia that he didn’t have...and kept saying...’it will come out, eventually. Trust me. I can’t share it with you now, but it will all come out, eventually’.
And he was lying all along, of course.
So, there’s a special place in hell for this clown.
Especially when, just a few years later, we learn that he was the one allegedly acting like a criminal: breaking the law and claiming he was living full time in a Maryland home he owns, to get a better mortgage rate.
Letitia James has similar mortgage problems, and -talk about irony-
Both of those cases come down to, basically, lying to banks. Financial lending institutions’...which is what Letitia James claimed trump was guilty of-when she prosecuted him for fake crimes.... when there were no victims...and he had fully paid back the bank loans years ago.
Her prosecution of trump was a legal travesty, and nearly all honest attorneys and prosecutors agree-
At the heart of the case was the claim that trump lied to banks to get a better lending rate.
Ah....gee. That’s exactly what Schiff and James are accused of-and there’s far more evidence that they are guilty...than James had as she claimed trump was guilty.
We just need to point out-yet again- how rush Limbaugh’s old axiom holds up, here: when democrats accuse republicans of doing something illegal or skeezy...it’s because.... they, themselves...are breaking that law or doing that ‘skeezy’ thing.
It's remarkable how often this turns out to be the case.
And so, on the mortgage stuff, Pam Bondi’s DOJ presumably has enough to charge both...so she’s put it into the hands of a special prosecutor. A guy named ed martin will spearhead both criminal cases...
And then a special grand jury is being called to look at that second case against James related to civil rights violations.
They both deny any wrongdoing, but if Bondi is naming a special prosecutor and moving ahead with the cases, they’ve probably got some pretty good evidence.
But to be clear- at this point? As nasty and criminal as the actions of these two people have been against Donald Trump...as they used any tool at their disposal to destroy him, his reputation, his businesses, and his political career over the last decade?
Frankly? If this is just a matter of two criminal cases with ‘weak’ charges moving forward just to make Schiff and James’ lives a living hell. Just to make them sweat and lay awake at night and spend tens of thousands of dollars on lawyers?
Even if that’s all this is?
Fine.
The lefty media is relentlessly insisting this is just ‘trump payback’. Or trump now using lawfare against his enemies unfairly.
Hey. Whatever. The democrats started this-and these two? - were two of the absolute scummiest and dishonest actors in the whole drama. So if Trump and Bondi want to destroy them out of political spite for trying to destroy trump?

I’m fine with it.These democrats crossed so many ‘uncrossable lines’ over the last ten years when it’s come to trump and trying to destroy any of us who they saw as political enemies-that I’m fine with giving them a taste of that medicine.
These aren’t the types of cases that normally end in prison time-but how great would it be to see either Schiff- or James- or both end up in orange jumpsuits and in a federal lock up?
God. That’d be a fitting end to them-for deciding they were going to make it their personal missions to destroy trump.
And if you remember- Letitia James was quite overt about it. She ran for office on a pledge to New Yorkers to ‘get trump’...and she’s spent her career in that seat...commonly...routinely...and blatantly insisting she was going to destroy trump.
Letitia James has made no secret of the fact that she feels a personal and political animosity toward Donald trump, his businesses, and his family...
And I don’t see how all her past comments- on video -don’t play a part in any upcoming civil rights trial.
As I say, this is the second case the DOJ is bringing against Letitia James and it’s a good one.
There is-no doubt- that Letitia James weaponized her public office for a personal mission.
The lefty media accomplices want to spin this as trump and Bondi now abusing their own positions in acts of retaliation-
And if that’s all this is- again- I’m perfectly fine with that, given how this era’s democrats have acted and how they’ve abused every federal agency and every lever of power they’ve been given during the Obama, Trump, and Biden eras...
But-
When it comes down to these court cases- both Adam Schiff and Letitia James would argue that this is about ‘equal application of the law’...if they weren’t the targets.
And I’m not trying to be cute: as these democrats like James and Schiff and the Jan sixth committee members have gone after trump...they’ve used this excuse: it’s about equal application of the law. Trump shouldn’t get away with anything that the average American can’t.
And their charges and accusations were all false...but...if they believe any of their own bologna...
Going after the for-mortgage fraud-really is-about the equal application of the law.
And if Letitia James really believes that ‘no one is above the law’ -then she should be doing some self-reflecting -because it’s clear she abused her power and violated Donald Trump’s civil rights-as an American citizen- in her ugly quest to put him in jail and ruin his businesses.
As an elected official and an attorney general who has taken an oath...she shouldn’t have the interest or motivation to destroy an innocent American citizen simply because she dislikes that person, on a personal level.
Whether it’s trump...or some NY widow who isn’t cooperating with her...or whomever.
There is no doubt Letitia James overstepped her bounds and violated Donald Trump’s civil rights in her effort to ‘get him’ and harm his businesses. She’s on video- again, doing it.
So, everything about James’ pursuit of Donald Trump was ridiculous and outrageous and was meant to either destroy him, personally, or interfere with the 2024 election.
The fact that a judge allowed the James civil case against Trump to even take place is outrageous and unprecedented.
And the fact that it took place during a national presidential election makes it even more apparent this was ‘legal abuse’ being committed by not just Letitia James and the state of New York-but also- the judge and judicial branch who allowed the farce to take place.
It is for those reasons that Letitia James needs to be fully held accountable of the law.
