We had ‘numerous’ disappointed listeners yesterday when I didn’t talk about the latest in the Russia collusion saga: that Pam Bondi, as Trump’s attorney general, sent the newest evidence to a grand jury.
What does this mean? -several listeners asked.
Does it make it more likely that some of these dirty democrats like John Brennan and James Clapper and Obama and Hillary are prosecuted and facing charges? Etc.
Well, that’s what sending it to the grand jury is meant to ‘find out’.
Listeners know that I’m highly skeptical that any actual consequences or punishment will ‘come from’ any of this...and so, they figure...if I’m at all optimistic about any of this maybe they can be, too.
So hey, if you are looking for any ‘cues’ from me as to whether we might ‘see the impossible’ here, and get some criminal charges leveled against some of these high-level scumbags- yes-this is a reason to be optimistic.
And no, they’ll never level charges against President Obama. He’ll have presidential immunity and- as the nation’s first black president I highly doubt Bondi and Trump, and their administration would actually ‘go there’.
But what they -can and would do- is do the same sort of thing that Obama’s team had James Comey do to Hillary hold a news conference in which they lay out all of the federal crimes that President Obama ‘might have’ committed here, and then the reasons that he cannot be- or will not be- criminally charged or prosecuted-even as the rest of his minions, like Clapper, Comey and Brennan are.
That’d be about the ‘best’ we could expect when it comes to Obama.
But sending the newly released evidence and information from Tulsi Gabbard and Senator Grassley to a grand jury to see if an independent panel finds there’s enough evidence and/or ‘reason’ for official federal charges -is reason-for some optimism, sure.
Does it mean criminal charges are coming against these people?
Not necessarily, no. But it’s a good sign that Bondi is asking a federal prosecutor to take it all to a grand jury, yes.
Several anonymous insider sources that I’ve seen quoted by fox news and the federalist, etc., indicate that Pam Bondi is taking this new information very seriously, and sees potential crimes in it.

And this is why, in a segment last Friday, I finally said: okay, now democrat insiders in dc are finally scared. Finally rattled.
Good sources like Johnathan Turley were admitting they’re playing it cool and still denying there’s anything ‘new here’ on MSNBC and in the NY Times...but the insiders know that’s not true. They know this is new and damning information that has come to light. And they’re finally scared-
Meaning- the longtime democrats and dc insiders were certain this was just going to blow over again. They were certain that their lefty friends and long-time accomplices in the most powerful MSM outlets were going to be able to simply ‘paper over this’ yet again. After all- these biggest media outlets won all sorts of awards with their fake Russian hoax coverage and won’t want to admit their mistakes or admit they were complicit...
And so....no worries. We’ll label Tulsi Gabbard a loon...and say there’s nothing new here and it’ll blow over.
But- it’s not blowing over and what Gabbard and Patel- thru Senator Grassley-are releasing here is the damning evidence that proves the conspiracy: proves the worst and greatest political scandal in u-s history.
These insiders know the Russia smear really did occur- and was orchestrated by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Obama White House...
They know this attempt to destroy Trump’s presidency before it ever got started-happened-
They know that these new records can’t be explained away by claiming trump’s team just ‘made them up’... Or that they ‘look like more Russia disinformation’- the lie they used on hunter’s laptop.
They know that these are- records that our own FBI, CIA, and DOJ agents kept and created. They know that these records contain the conspirators’ emails...along with all sorts of other records and testimony that our own ‘secret’ DOJ and congressional investigations found, examined, cataloged, and came to conclusions.
Among the new things that we now know-for certain-
That Hillary, herself, signed off on the effort to create the fake Steele Dossier, which lied about all sorts of connections trump had to Russia-and how he had ties to Putin.
We know that -from the beginning-the intent was to hand it over to Obama’s dept of justice so that Comey and Brennan could inject it into the dept of justice bloodstream to give it validity.
We now know that President Obama-directly- decided to continue the smear even after trump won as a way to try to destroy trump’s presidency before it ever got started...etc.
Folks-with these new declassified document dumps, we now have all the dates and details to go along with that basic narrative that people like me have been running through forever.
It’s now confirmed:
We can now go ‘date by date’ and put this timeline together. That’s powerful evidence in front of any jury.
And it’s why these insiders are saying pam Bondi and Tulsi gabbard believe there is clear cause for charges, here.
Greg Jarrett is one of Fox News legal experts-and says: if it’s gotten this far-
To the point that Bondi is empaneling a grand jury- then she’s got to have the goods to prosecute at least a few of these people. Whether it’s Brennan and Comey and Clapper, or Susan Rice, or Andrew McCabe, or whatever.
She’s got to believe there is something that warrants criminal charges, here.
And at the very least- as Bondi’s DOJ put it-
There is at least a need for next steps.
I think that’s a good way to put it-and to play it-for Trump’s DOJ team. Don’t promise criminal charges. Don’t promise convictions. Just...take it seriously. Go through the steps. Make it all above board so the charges and prosecutions are credible. And explain it to the American people as you go along.
It’s very early in the process. We don’t even know when or where the grand jury will meet, at this point, and so there’s nothing to get too excited about, yet.
Aside from the fact that-for the first time in my lifetime- we have a dept of justice and a presidential administration who are finally taking public corruption seriously-and who are finally willing to go after some of the most powerful and scummy gameplayers in dc- over decades.
That, in and of itself, is encouraging.
This is also encouraging: a new Rasmussen poll of average voters shows that most of them-are- following along on this story-
And a majority-already believe-that barrack and Hillary and the rest of these people committed crimes. The American people are taking this ‘return to the Russia hoax’ seriously, even as the vast majority of the same old news outlets try to re-bury it.
Folks, if we are starting from ’54 percent of Americans think Obama and his people committed crimes’ while engaging in this attempt to rig the 2016 election- it means that those numbers are only going to grow...as we get into more evidence and indictments.
This is a good starting point-and suggests an openness-
A willingness-by most of the American people to believe that, yes, this attempt to rig and steal the 2016 election for Hillary -was real. Did it happen with Obama and Hillary atop it.
And the evidence will only grow. New pieces will start to fall into place.
