Earlier, I mocked the notion that this week -the mainstream media outlets are quote... ‘Coming to grips’ .... with their role in the cover up.
No, they’re not.
They’re only looking for ways to shift all the blame for the cover up onto Biden and his handlers...when they were major, major actors in it.
Covering up- not just Joe’s dementia-but for the staggering number of genuinely awful decisions and policies that Biden’s team made- didn’t just destroy Biden’s reputations- it destroyed whatever was left of the legacy media’s reputations as well-
And so- scapegoating Biden isn’t going to save or rehabilitate the news media.... Nor is it going to solve the democrat party’s problems-which run much deeper.
We have seen all sorts of democrat strategists and congressman scrambling to blame the party’s current problems on Biden....but that’s wrong. I’d flip it around: most of the bad decisions and horrible outcomes made by the Biden team- are a result of the party’s much larger problems.
They are a party whose members hate America, now. And so, when party leaders were put around Biden to ‘run the country’ and follow the biggest wishes of the democrat grassroots- what we got was wreckage, incompetence, extremism, and anti-America chaos.
I said yesterday: I can assure you all-with certainty: there is no way Kamala Harris was going to win that election. It didn’t matter if she got the ‘late handoff’ from Biden...or had run in a primary and -by some miracle-gotten the nom. There was no way that- that person- who we saw all fall-was going to win that election.
I said during Hillary’s race: she is an inherently off-putting and unlikeable person. The American people-and even members of her own party have made it clear- they don’t want Hillary to be their president.
I said the same about Kammy: she’s a crackling, fake, thoroughly unlikable person who was never going to win. Guaranteed.
The great Larry Kudlow has a great turn of phrase today: he says- the democrats are digging their own political graves-and president trump is selling them the shovel.
And he’s right. Kudlow praises president Trump’s Mideast trip this week- in the same way i was yesterday.
It really is astounding.
I have been doing this job for a very, very long time. I’ve watched politics and every presidential administration and congress ‘do their thing’ over the last 40 years...
And I am genuinely stunned that we have arrived at a point at which one party’s leaders prove- day after day-that they and their grassroots hate America.
I’ve become damn good at making predictions and seeing political trends...but I never would have predicted that- at any point of my lifetime-
One of the two major political parties openly running on a platform of ‘hating America’.
But that’s what today’s democrats are doing-even if none of them would ever admit it.
Either they ‘don’t see it’ in themselves...or they know they’ll never be able to trick the public into tearing down their own country-if they admit to what they are doing...
But....with each passing day, now, the democrats are showing the rest of us how much they hate America.
Under trump.... Inflation is down; grocery prices are down. Gas prices are down. A corrupt DC government is being exposed. American strength and smart diplomacy is on display again. Illegals who have committed crimes here and victimized countless Americans are deported...and..... Man, do today’s democrats effing hate it.
How do you explain that?
They aren’t even ‘Anti-Trump’...as much as they are ‘anti-America’. If they were just ‘anti-trump’ they’d at least be admitting to his obvious successes and trying to get on the ‘better side of him’ on all these issues.
They’re not. They’re just trashing and hating what he’s doing- because he’s making pro-America moves.
As a columnist at American thinker puts it:
The southern border has been closed. The horrific scenes of thousands of migrants entering the country day after day after day are over. The Biden administration’s fervent attempt to destroy the country via the invasion of third-world migrants has been stopped. This is what Americans voted for and 80 percent of them tell pollsters it’s what they want.
So -the democrat reaction is to throw themselves on the pyre of defending the murderous gangsters of MS-13, Tren de Aragua human traffickers, child sex traffickers, and the members of the vicious, brutal drug cartels that run Mexico and control the southern border?
This is their interest.
What explains this determination of the democrat party to keep these violent, sociopathic, drug pushing, criminals in this country?
The only answer is that they loathe this nation and want to see it destroyed. Yep. And she says-
There is more proof that they hate America.
Even though 80% of Americans do not support men playing in women’s sports, the democrats are going to the mattresses to defend men claiming to be trans winning every women's sport in which they are allowed to compete.
Who are these people? Monbat’s. Radicals. Idiots. Anti-Americans. And most obvious of all? Against the Judeo-Christian values that made America great. It is time for every American to admit that, if democrats, they are on the wrong side of everything good and decent. They have chosen the side of degradation, of the ruination of all that is great about western civilization.
I’ve been saying it for years- because i always seem to be ahead of the others: today’s democrats are America-haters. The leaders of this party-and the people who make up its activist grass roots- are all America-haters.
All of you people who vote ‘democrat’ are not. There’s probably about half of the current democrat party who are still good, America-loving people who have their hearts in the right place and still think-
Still think! - that this is the party of Jefferson, and Roosevelt, and JFK, or even Clinton. And it’s not. And it’s not by a long shot.
It was good to see a significant chunk of ‘you’ all wake up following four disastrous and incomprehensible years of Biden- shift back toward common sense....but there are still about one-quarter of the people in this country who are calling themselves democrats because they just ‘always have’. Or because their parents or grandparents did.
This is -not-the party, or the political positions, that your parents or grandparents were supporting. Not unless they were socialists and America-haters.
Derek hunter is another great conservative columnist who is marveling at the democrats rushing ice facilities and staging protests to keep dangerous illegal criminals in our country...
And it baffles him, too.
Yep. And the so-called news media’s role in all of this has been equally alarming and disgraceful.They all seem to be America-haters, too, now.
The only good news -is that most Americans ‘see it’.
Mark Mellman is a long-time liberal pollster and political consultant. He’s been around forever. He’s president of the Mellman group, which consults on congressional and gubernatorial campaigns...and has for decades.
This guy’s a big-shot in political circles- and a legend on the left.
He did a long, long, sit down interview this week in which he mostly trashes trump and republicans and vomits bile...
But...he was also honest about how lost today’s democrats are.
Fellow pollster Frank Luntz- for what it’s worth-says he’s seeing the same thing in his focus groups. There’s just ‘not much’ that the American people like about the democrat party right now.
And why would they? When the leaders of the democrat party continue to show such an open contempt for the American people and American greatness?
