One of the things that president trump and his team discovered- upon taking office this second time-is that President Biden’s administration was, essentially, ‘at war’ with this Houthi band of terrorists in Yemen that was being funded by Iran....but didn’t want to tell anyone.
It's shocking to think that our military and fed government could be engaging in a war without the American people knowing...but when the so-called media members are just left-wing accomplices.... Who was going to report the story? Or discover the truth?
But the situation was worse than that. Because Biden’s regime wasn’t ‘really’ fighting a war with the Houthis. They were just playing ‘defense’ against Houthi attacks in the middle eastern seas...and expending significant US anti-missile weaponry and rockets...as well as counter-strike missiles...to ward off these attacks. Attacks on our military ships...as well as commercial vessels.
Imagine: Biden’s regime was allowing our warships and airships to be constantly ‘fired upon’...while taking virtually -no-measures to respond to it.
Why?
Because Biden’s regime didn’t want to be known for getting us into another war.
Honestly. That was the truth of the matter, once Trump’s team got into the pentagon and started asking questions.
And so- what Biden’s conflict with the Houthis amounted to was a -very- one-sided conflict with a group of little peon terrorists that Biden’s regime allowed to constantly attack us...with no response. Or virtually no response.
And that might not be that ‘big a deal’...if it wouldn’t have led to the largest expenditure of America’s naval missiles and weaponry since World War II.
Really.Biden and his regime chewed up major amounts of our naval rockets and ammunition...just to ‘ward off’ and ‘swat down’...the incoming attacks from the Houthis.
Why in the hell would we? As a nation? Put up with that?
But- Biden’s putrid regime did.
So-enter Trump. He discovers this. He and Pete Hegseth -in very short order- organize a ‘real’ military response to the Houthis. The initial missile strikes wipe out virtually all the Houthi’s top leadership in a single night- and we’ve been pounding them...whenever necessary...since. Trump’s ‘first day’ message was clear: we don’t’ care about your little...civil war...going on there in Yemen...but we will not stand for attacks on the west, on our military, and on commercial ships. You will knock that crap off, immediately.
Well-less than two months later- the Houthi leaders called the white house to capitulate. President Trump broke this news during his meeting with the new Canadian prime minister yesterday.
We had some very good news last night—the Houthis have announced, announced to us at least, that they don’t want to fight anymore. They just don’t want to fight. And we will honor that, and we will stop the bombings. And they have capitulated, but, more importantly, we will take their word. They say they will not be blowing up ships anymore, and that’s the purpose of what we were doing.
So, that’s just news we just found out about. So, I think that’s very positive. They were knocking out a lot of ships going, as you know, sailing beautifully down the various seas. It wasn’t just the canal, it was a lot of other places. And I will accept their word, and we are going to stop the bombing of the Houthis effective immediately. And Marco, you’ll let everybody know that, okay? Do you have something to say about that, by the way? Pretty big announcement.
Does this mean that the Houthis are no longer a worry?
No.
They’re a Middle Eastern terror group that is funded by Iran and whose leaders have vowed to be part of the axis of evil...along with Iran...against the west. They’re still trying to bomb Israel.
This pledge to stop attacking commercials and US ships probably won’t last until Memorial Day. But we’ll see.
Unlike Biden or barrack- if these Houthis are only saying this to have Trump take the pressure off of them....so they can regroup and then start attacking us again....
Unlike Obama and Biden...trump will go right back to wiping them out. And he’ll probably be even more PO’d and committed to that notion than he is, currently.
Trump is the sort of leader who would say, ‘don’t make me regret this, or you really won’t like what comes next for you, if you break this pledge to me’.
Correct?
And so, if the Houthi leaders think they are just playing trump for time, here, they’re going to be disappointed.
Trump even emphasized: this isn’t a ‘deal’. They just said...please don’t bomb us anymore and we won’t attack your ships....so...i’ll see if they can be trusted.
Since Trump and Hegseth decided to respond, we’ve conducted about a thousand missile strikes against them...in less than two months. So, the Houthi leadership has to be dying like flies.
Until yesterday, our US Central Command over there was saying:
Biden didn’t want to defend our interests. Trump isn’t screwing around.
Biden and his pathetic saps let this ‘terrorizing and sinking of ships’ go on for two years. Trump and his team have it stopped in less than two months.
That’s great news.
Also- president trump teased a major new announcement before he and his team travel to the middle east next week. They leave Monday for stops in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar. And Trump says they’ll be making a hugely positive announcement as they leave.
I’m going to ‘guess’ that this is about the Abraham accords- which were economic deals launched between Israel and some of its willing Muslim neighboring countries...under the first administration.
They were the first significant step toward middle east peace in 40 years-at least since the carter era- and they happened under trump’s first term.
Then Biden’s team, of course, let them atrophy for four years...but hey.... they didn’t die. The five or six that were put in place are still working, and i wonder if this announcement isn’t related to an expansion of them- or even- ‘shock of shocks’... Even the announcement that the Saudi Arabian govt is now also ready to cut economic agreements with Israel.
That! It would be huge. Normalizing relations between Israel and its largest and most powerful neighbor, Saudi Arabia, was the ‘end result’ of what trump’s team was chasing in term one: because ‘as Saudi Arabia goes.... go so many of its middle eastern neighbors.’ Saudi Arabia and Iran are multi-generational, tribal enemies, and most of the countries in the middle east are aligned with it-far more than Iran. And so, it would be monumental if trump could pull the Saudi prince into his orbit and get it to normalize economic relations with Israel.
That might be a terrible guess, given that it would be occurring during the Israeli war to wipe out Hamas. The Saudis have been angry at Israel and Netanyahu over that: would SA really cut a deal with Israel in a time in which it’s targeting Muslims?
Probably not.
But. It’s a guess.
And as for this week’s news that Israel’s leaders-have-decided to take over all of Gaza and stay a while as occupiers until Hamas is eradicated-
That was more ugly news for Palestinians and Muslims, in general, in the middle east...but it must be done.
The only way Hamas is -ever- possibly- eradicated is with an operation like this...and then some sort of extended occupation of Gaza...until Israel and its allies can work out a plan for ‘who’ Gaza gets turned over to...and ‘how.’
This is the only move Israel can make- in large part-because no one else wants to ‘touch it’ or try to ‘govern’ these ungovernable, hateful, Gazan Palestinians.
Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia have all said ‘hell no’...when it was suggested they should be the Muslim nations to step in and take governing control over Gaza.
Every one of their leaders knows what nasty, bitter, ‘death cult’ types of Islamists comprise most leaders of that Gazan society. And they want nothing to do with it, either.
And so-what is Israel to do?
They have no other choice.
