Given that there’s an important referendum question related to voter ID on our April first ballot- the researchers at the Wisconsin Institute of Law and Liberty decided to do a ‘deep dive’ into voting records and test some of the ‘beliefs’ or ‘theories’ related to our voter ID requirements-
And what they found doesn’t surprise me. WILL’s study found a few things: including the fact that there has been a slight uptick in voter turnout since our voter id laws were enacted here. So, it’s certainly not ‘suppressing the vote’ as the leftists claim.
Yep. And this we’ve known.
Will’s findings don’t surprise me at all- because similar studies on other states whose leaders have implemented voter id- like Georgia- have found the same thing.
What have they found:
That voter participation and voter confidence in elections both go ‘up’. Not down.
And it makes sense, given that people who have more confidence that the election will be ‘fair’ are more likely to participate in it.
And that effect of ‘voter id’ has been seen in other studies in other states: in Georgia- overall voter participation went up after voter id laws took effect-and-
And- participation by Black voters in Georgia also went up- with the assumption being ‘if the results of elections are viewed most skeptically by minority voters- and they are- then, adding voter protections appeals to those minority voters who have ‘long questioned’ the accuracy of the elections. Correct?
That’s also logical.
It’s also good to know, given that on April first ballot we have a constitutional amendment being voted on by ‘we, the people’. It would enshrine our photo-id laws into the state constitution-so they are a protection that no future court-or legislature-could take away from us.
‘WILL’ notes that voter ID laws have been a bone of contention across the country ...but that’s only because today’s democrats and left-wing ‘voter operations’ want to lie and pretend as if there is something wrong with them. That they suppress or disenfranchise the voter. And they don’t.
And a few studies now- across different states- prove it.
So, please make a point of voting early, or by mail, or in person on election day- in favor of this very important constitutional amendment and for Brad Schimel in the State Supreme court race- so the liberals don’t maintain their current control of that court- to disastrous new consequences.
