So....something interesting is happening as this second Trump era gets underway...
And if you listen close enough...you can hear it.
(pause)
Do you hear.... the silence?
Well, given every ‘rule’ of the last 20 years, at least, what we -should be-hearing is the shrill shrieks of the environmental zealots, who- apparently- have been in an absolute rage since president trump retook office and pulled us out of the Paris accord and shredded every eco-zealot move that president Biden’s regime had put in place..etc.
Yeah.I didn’t notice it, either. But, apparently,
Environmentalists are right back to their old ‘tried and true’ hysterics and scary tactics- here in America and in Europe-
But- funny thing-
This time? No one seems to be listening. Not here, and not in Europe.
And it seems to be a combination of things that are ‘blotting out’ eco-shrieking. But it mainly seems to be such super-expensive energy and heating prices in the blue states and in Europe that -even the people who vote ‘lefty’ are starting to hate and dismiss this global warming nonsense.
Fantastic.
I watch current events pretty darn closely, as part of this job, and until this week- i genuinely haven’t heard or seen anything about the eco-shrieking that’s underway, now that trump is back in office.
Trump came in and pulled out of the Paris accord, yes. But that was minor.
More significantly- he immediately moved to slash the Biden-govt’s commitment to so-called ‘renewable energy’....and instead.... he implemented his ‘all of the above’ energy policy...which proved to be so successful in his first term.
It isn’t just ‘drill, baby drill’, but acknowledging the importance of the fossil fuel industry-is-part of it, and yes, president trump asked the oil and natural gas industries to increase production, as part of his plan to lower prices after Biden’s runaway inflation.
I talked about this at the time: the reason that there hasn’t been an immediate response from the oil and gas industry that has led to more drilling-is because America’s fossil fuel producers already feel like they are drilling at an ambitious level-and don’t feel the need to drill even more-to see the overall price per barrel go down.
But- yes- trump would like to see them drill more to bring down the costs it takes to manufacture and ship goods- yes.
And whether the fossil fuel sectors respond immediately, or not, trump has taken several steps to encourage them. Including reopening 625-million acres of federal waters and Alaskan lands for oil and gas leases after Biden tried to ban those areas...
And... Trump blocked several offshore wind projects that are costly and floundering and environmentally harmful.
He’s made these moves-and more- over the course of just six weeks-
And as you’d expect, the eco-zealot groups are furious. Raising all the normal alarms.Raging against the establishment ‘machine’. But this time, no one’s listening.
Huh.
National review points out that-last time trump tampered with Obama’s precious climate projects- the tech billionaires were outraged, and it got all sorts of ‘righteous attention’ in the media.
Not this time.
And the American public doesn’t seem to care. All. This time.
The other thing that has harmed this eco-movement greatly- which they only touch on – is the California wildfires.
How quickly the zealots forget: it is their extreme and dangerous policies that created the conditions for entire sections of some of California’s major cities to be destroyed by wildfires. Completely wiped out. Devastation as complete and severe as anything that befell the residents of Pompeii...for heaven’s sake.
Do these environmentalist groups really expect people to forget about that?
Talk about the ‘ultimate proof’ of this climate fraud. Those wildfires were ‘it’. And they have all sorts of Californians-and others in blue states- saying ‘stuff your global warming crap, already’ to their own elected leaders.
They really do.
There is now- zero debate-out there in California in ‘how’ and ‘why’ those wildfires were so bad.People know that California zealots had environmental policies on the books that blocked water supplies, banned any brush removal, and created the conditions for such terrible fires.
It wasn’t just a ‘lack of planning’, my friends. It was -so much- worse.
A lack of planning suggests unintentional malfeasance.
No- what California saw was a slavish devotion to eco-zealotry that kept the leaders of those communities and the state of California from engaging in ‘common sense planning’. And they all paid the price for it.
Meanwhile-outside of California-in the other blue states whose leaders have gone ‘all in’ on this eco-zealotry- observers say the voters are fed up with skyrocketing and highly shocking energy prices...in the name of fighting a ‘climate extreme’ that has proven to be nothing other than scare tactics for years.
In short-fewer and fewer people-even in the blue states-are buying into the b.s. -and into the belief that zero carbon by ‘this date’- as they are being sent shockingly high energy bills month after month.
These democrats are destroying their own states. Inflicting unnecessary financial pain onto their residents and their businesses-
And none of their actions are actually ‘helping to curb’ global warming!
That’s the ultimate kick-to-the-cherries, here, for the residents living in those states-
Who, frankly, brought this on themselves by voting like morons. Stop. Voting. Democrat.
And-nationally-the truth is: between the Obama and Biden regimes, our energy policies and our forced compliance mandates are so bleeped up that they aren’t going to be easy to undo- even if we, the people, demand it ‘be done’.
The democrats and their committed zealots will-never- give up the ground they have won in this idiotic battle- easily.
It’s why I love to hear Lee Zeldin, Trump’s EPA head, say he might cut 65 percent of that agency’s staffers. Good: get rid of every climate activist and zealot who has filtered into that agency as a federal employee to ‘screw us from the inside of government’.
Last Monday, trump said he will undo the Biden cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline.
Okay. It means nothing. The Canadian oil company that wanted to do it-and invested so much time and effort into it-only to be blocked again and again and again-has said ‘screw it. We have no interest, anymore’.
And so, the eco-zealots and the Biden era ‘left’ won. Without winning.
It is time to tear down the fall of the policies related to this eco-zealotry.
We in the west have spent trillions of dollars- and to no overall effect
It is time to end this costly lunacy....and expose it for the expensive farce that it is-
And how the entire myth related to global warming and out-of-control climate change was nothing more than the globalist left-wingers inventing a pretext to force us all under their control.
‘Climate change’ is the ultimate watermelon: it’s red socialism and communism- under a green veneer. And it’s time we, in the west, stop falling for it.
