This next update has to do with DOGE and what we’ve been talking a lot this week: in truth, polls are showing that doge and the effort to clean up a corrupt government are actually very popular with the American people-
Even in the face of relentlessly negative and misleading MSM coverage ever since the effort started.
Interestingly- it was just yesterday that i was saying: musk and trump need to ‘better explain’ what they are doing- because they are letting a lot of misinformation flow around out there and-or fester for days –
Well, yesterday, in a closed meeting-several house republicans ripped the White House and Musk for not being clearer about what they are doing-and instead- playing cutesy games on social media.
A few of them ripped into Musk and said, basically, he’s getting a kick out of playing childish games on social media- as we lawmakers get hung out to dry. Our offices get the angry emails and it’s up to us to explain what’s really going on- and even then- Musk and Trump aren’t giving us the courtesy of a ‘heads up’.
And these house members are not wrong. I’ve been mentioning this very thing.
The fresh anger came after many house republicans went home during a weekend recess and held town hall meetings-only to be ambushed by highly organized efforts to have angry activists take over their town hall meetings.
This was all orchestrated by Soros funded groups-and honestly? - the groups and the associated press made no secret of this fact ahead of time-
NY Times, Wash Post, and network news outlets intentionally spun these angry town halls as ‘organic.’
In fact, two of our GOP congressmen Glenn Grothman and Scott Fitzgerald- were targeted. Their meetings were astroturfed. Only to have the NY Times and Wash Post mention them as ‘examples’ of the growing anger at Trump and Musk.
No. They weren’t. They were faked news events -by the left- to try to change the narrative on what is-so far- very popular actions by Trump and Musk.
The Washington Free Beacon pulled this all together yesterday and finally ‘exposed the game’. And part of that game-
And this is important-
Part of that game was having the reporters and editors of the NY Times, Wash Post, and other so-called news operations-willingly participate in the falsehood.
It proves that- even now- these news organizations have no intention of giving up their left-wing bias and/or ‘fighting trump’.
The Free Beacon calls out- the Times, Post, and CBS, for willingly-and intentionally claiming these staged town halls were evidence of a quote. Emerging bipartisan backlash over Musk’s efforts to slash govt spending.
They weren’t.
They were faked.

So-the associated press-which is a major resource for these very newsrooms- reported on the 17th that Soros groups were organizing some astroturfing to make GOP lawmakers look bad-
And still- the Times, Post, CBS and others- chose to ‘join the lie’ and circulate all sorts of fake news related to them.
I’d say ‘unbelievable’...but...it’s all too believable.
And again- props to urban Milwaukee’s content managers for at least mentioning it.
From what I saw- Fitzgerald and Grothman were interviewed afterward and even told the reporters that asked: all those people said they were democrats...and so...what’s out of the ordinary?
Of course, they expected some of their democrat constituents to be angry over some of the lies they’ve been fed over the last four weeks.
It doesn’t sound like Fitz or Glenn were tricked by it. But if the accomplice media members were, they’re dopes.
I’m going to keep saying it: the DOGE effort is a much-needed and never-before-done top-down review of our government agencies and our spending. It is a great thing that’s’ being done.
It’s still in its infancy-and it has already uncovered a lot of fraud and theft that largely democrat politicians and their K-street and activist supporters have built into the system- that must end.
This is a huge part of what the DC swamp ‘is’ and has been for a hundred years or more.
And it’s another reason that most dc creatures are either openly-or quietly- furious about this DOGE effort.
Some are worried their own corruption will be discovered. Others are worried that the democrat’s 40-year effort to turn our govt agencies into their own personal ATMs- is being dismantled.
The democrats have their reliable ‘gaggle of minions’ or are dumb enough and blind enough to believe anything they are told-
And so, I don’t doubt that there is ‘some level’ of democrat anger across the country related to Musk and DOGE-but it’s all borne out of misinformation and intentional lies and spin being done by the democrats and their activist groups.
This is Trump’s team -finally- engaging in a constitutional clean-up of the sort that is long overdue-
And a Washington DC reckoning I never thought we’d see happening. Ever.
And it’s glorious.
If we had honest democrat lawmakers and honest left-wing activists, folks, there would be no push back on these efforts.
And so, their fury at this doge effort is proof of the left’s destain for democracy, our republic, and the constitution.
It really is.
And if anyone’s creating a constitutional crisis-it’s the democrats and activist-because what they have been doing- is demanding that executive authority be wrestled away from the person who we, the American people, put into that executive position with our votes- and who we want to have it right now.
Donald trump.
So, I’ll say this again, too:
What Donald Trump and Elon Musk are doing is trying to ‘restore’ democracy and reclaim control of the republic.
And anyone who doesn’t see it-
Or who pretends not to- shouldn’t be holding a public office.
