Today’s winning segment starts with about 100 listeners sending me the story about how the WIAA is banning biological boys from girls sports in Wisconsin- making sure I saw this ‘win’.
I did.
But before you celebrate too much, or give WIAA officials ‘too much credit’ for finally using some common sense-
The truth is: they had no choice.
I’m not trying to diminish ‘the win’ here, but I do think it’s important to note that this isn’t Wisconsin athletic officials who have spent decades proving to us that they’re dopes- suddenly coming to their senses.
Let’s be clear: WIAA is making this change because the trump administration has given them no choice.
It might have been in – Mondays? Or Tuesdays? - winning segment that I talked about this very thing: trump’s team had sent out a notice to all public k-12 schools and districts across America- via Linda McMahon’s education department- saying: you will comply with our title nine changes, or you will most federally funding.
The memo said: you have two weeks in which to do it-and we will start checking for compliance immediately, as that two-week window expires.
We just talked about this a few days ago- and I was using the state of Maine as an example. The leftists in their state education dept. were insisting that -by God, we are going to ignore trump and let boys play in girls’ sports if they say they feel like a girl.
And I said: no, they won’t. Or they’re going to lose federal funding.
It was against this backdrop that the WIAA waited a day or two- before announcing: we have updated our policy on Wisconsin athletics.
Yeah.
Of course you did. They had no other choice. They announced it via a press release:
The new policy is a student whose sex is assigned male at birth may practice in a girl’s sport...and can ‘be part of the team’ if they feel there are benefits to being on it-but they cannot compete in the competitions.
I think it’s important to point it out: this is not the leftists in our athletic and education departments suddenly bowing to common sense. It’s them bowing to -federal law. So, let’s not let them off the hook, or start believing they should get some sort of credit here. They shouldn’t.
When the WIAA and NCAA officials had a chance to show some common sense, some integrity, and some backbone- they caved instead. They should get no credit, now, for being forced to do what’s right.
But yes, this is a win.

The next win also comes out of the US Dept. of Education-now that it’s under trump and Linda McMahon’s control.
She has announced that over 600-million dollars in funding has been snuffed out that was meant to go for ‘social justice activism’ and teaching ‘critical race theory’.
This represents a huge win for community schools, parents, staffers, and most of all, our children. Donald Trump promised over and over again-on the campaign trail- to strip out and snuff out these far left anti-American, completely racist and sexist ideologies out of our govt and our schools-and by god-he’s doing it. Each one represents part of a much larger-culture saving- monumental win.

The next win comes from our own Sean Duffy: former Northwoods congressman and now trump’s transportation secretary.
And- not that the voters of NY deserve it- but-
Sean Duffy and President Trump stepped in to snuff out Gov Hocul’s wildly unpopular tax on anyone who dares to drive in downtown Manhattan.
This is the so-called ‘congestion pricing’ that eco-zealots convinced Hocul to put into place. It’s a 9-dollar toll on every car that enters a certain part of Manhattan every day. Most New Yorkers never wanted it...and immediately hated it...but hey: they keep voting for these rabid democrats and so- it serves them right.
Well, since Trump is from New York, and since the plan required federal highway administration approval, he wasn’t going to let this stand. Yesterday, transportation secretary Duffy axed the program after calling it backwards and unfair:
Donald Trump is president of ‘all Americans’, and yes, most of his executive orders and mandates are meant to ultimately benefit ‘all Americans’.... but here is, again, even doing some winning for the residents of blue cities and blue states who keep stupidly voting for democrat lawmakers.
The only way these blue cities and states ever get better-
The only way- is if their residents get so furious and fed up that they start voting differently.
Vote. Differently.
But- where is that threshold of pain? I’ve been watching Milwaukee and Chicago and these major cities ‘circle the drain’ for 30 years. Only ever getting worse-with the exception of New York under Giuliani and Bloomberg.
There’s even a ‘redemption story’ to help guide these voters onto a better path. But nope. Most voters in those big cities just keep voting democrat. And digging deeper.
Which is one reason it’s going to be interesting to see whether the dimwits out in California- in LA and San Diego- finally wise up now that their local democrat leaders have literally caused their homes to burn down. Entire neighborhoods lost to malfeasance, a lack of planning, and a slavish belief in eco-zealotry.
Will LA and California voters out there finally, finally, vote differently?
I’m still guessing, no’. Karen Bass and Gavin Newsome will be ‘out’ but they’ll just elect the ‘next moron up’.
And they will- as we read states keep winning.
