I know I’m reaching back into last week with this one-but i want to make sure listeners heard about it Trump’s new EPA head finding 20-billion dollars in federal taxpayer money that Biden’s regime intentionally-and I’d say ‘illegally’- shifted over to a private bank account before they left office- so it could be used against trump’s push-back efforts after Biden had left office.
This is a new level of left-wing corruption- as far as we know. But Lee Zeldin was on fox news and explained it this way:

Martha McCallum asked which eight groups this 20 billion was meant to fund-and Zeldin said they were created out of thin air, too. Specifically, to use this stolen taxpayer money.
And that is not the only fraud that he is run across in the short time he’s been doing this job.
I do not know how that shift is not illegal-and I hope Pam Bondi and the Trump DOJ look at this for possible criminal charges against those within the EPA and Biden white house who conspired to do this.
If nothing else, make them a test case for what sorts of govt corruption are actionable for criminal charges. Because I am -really- sick of this notion that anyone in our federal government can do whatever he or she wants- at anyone’s corrupt direction atop the agency-and no one ever gets held accountable or charged.
I am so sick of this claim that ‘if they were doing this as part of their job...they can’t be held criminally liable’. The heck they cannot. File the criminal charges and force the court cases.
This was a 20-billion-dollar giveaway to groups pushing for radical climate change agendas...that was going to be secretly handed out later-to secretive groups- with no government oversight. How is that legal?
And if it is-what sort of terrible can of ‘new worms’ does it open for any future outgoing administration?
And by the way, no one would know about this hidden 2o-billion project veritas had not have been able to use it out by getting some boastful govt employee to tell them it was going on.
And since so many people in the Biden EPA were also in the Obama EPA- it makes me wonder if this sort of thing went on under Obama, too, as that clown left office. Because he and his team were breaking every rule and law that they could think of-on their way out-including spying on trump and trying to rig the campaign in Hillary’s favor.
And here’s the thing: Zeldin has insisted the bank needs to give the money back so that it can be properly dispersed-but the lawyers aren’t quite sure if it-can-be clawed back, at this point.
But, add this 20 billion to the hundreds of billions of dollars of wasteful spending that doge and other trump officials have already identified.
If you recover a ‘few billion here’ and a ‘few billion there’, sooner or later, it starts adding up to some real money.
And nothing is more infuriating to me (and to the average taxpayer, I assume) than to hear these creatures of Washington dc- on both sides of the aisle- who are insisting that Musk and Trump aren’t finding any ‘real’ money here, and they’re just harming government for no reason.
I see that Lisa Murkowski, the GOP senator from Alaska, just made similarly asinine comments like this: if you have been in Washington DC so long that you don’t think ‘millions’ of dollars in savings, graft, or wasteful spending is a big deal, you should resign immediately.
And I mean that sincerely. If you, as an elected official or some long-time bureaucrat, do not think it is a big deal that even ‘millions of taxpayer dollars are being wasted or stolen-you should resign or be fired immediately.
As it is- we are talking about ‘tens of billions and hundreds of billions of dollars that are being stolen and/ or misspent here. And so, anyone saying that we are not finding ‘real savings’ or ‘this isn’t a worthy effort’...are idiots who should be ashamed and shouted out of the office.
All this money comes out of our hard-earned paychecks-and our businesses and time and effort and family budgets-
In 50, 100, 500, thousand dollars, ten-thousand-dollar increments-to be sent to Washington DC. Their utmost responsibility should be to spend it wisely and transparently.
And -no-amount of wasteful spending should be tolerated. Yet, the stories of waste are coming so fast and furious over the last four weeks-it’s hard to keep up with them.
Here’s another one:
This is the same pot of money that gov Evers was whining about last week. Wisconsin was losing its EV charging station money...and oooh...oooh...the wailing.
But so far: not a single EV charging station has been built in Wisconsin, either. It was a wasteful, terrible program. Not at all ‘thought out’ or a smart use of our tax dollars. And so, good riddance to it.
The story in my hand here says-so far, the program has produced all of 57 charging stations. That is it. The promise was for half a million across America.
No kidding. About 8-billion dollars for half a million charging stations across this great land of ours. Fifty-seven have been built. And of those, I guarantee you, half of them do not work.
There are some outside- the original ‘nine’ built with this money- that are never operable because thieves cut off the charging cord and steal it for the copper inside.
And if we are on these exec orders by trump: this is interesting.
The Wall St Journal has a story today about how some of Trump’s executive orders are meant to challenge the power of the government unions-
And it is intentional.
Some of these orders, like all employees need to be back working in the office by ‘this date’ –
Trump officials knew would be challenged- and they want the legal fight.
Trump’s team is welcoming the fight-and that is great to see it’s high time that we got some of these important questions answered that are related to the separation of powers-and who’s calling the shots and running our government in Washington DC. Is it ‘we, the people’, through our elected officials and the framework of government that our founders created?
Or is it big govt unions and the politicians they have been able to buy and manipulate over the generations?
I would say it’s a good time to have a 6-3 conservative and ‘mostly originalist’ court look at it.
