Oh boy-
We knew that the scandal surrounding this
USAID agency was going to get juicy-the more Elon musk’s doge team dug into it.
I was not shocked to hear, yesterday, that several so-called ‘news organizations have been discovered on this list of USAID funding recipients. So far, I’ve seen Politico, and the Associated Press outed, and there are bound to be more.
But- the appearance of news organizations whose content has only gotten more and more ‘left wing’ and more and more propagandist over time- should be a national scandal.
It should be a massive scandal that ‘one side of the political aisle’ in America has been clandestinely slipping US taxpayer dollars to
Allegedly ‘unbiased’ news operations...to the tune of tens of millions of dollars.
The scandal first broke with Politico- a left leaning, Washington DC insider, sort of website. I quote snippets of its work all the time.
Just as an example: politico was the news organization that quote ‘broke’ the news that the Hunter Biden laptop looked like ‘Russian disinformation’ to 51 former intelligence officials.
Well- Joe Biden’s campaign had generated the signed letter to trick the voting public- and then used politico and other left-wing newsrooms to pump it into the media bloodstream. Did the Biden team go to politico and say: you will run this story for us, or will cut off your 8 million a year in secret funding?
The very way the funding was delivered- made it blackmail material made it possible for democrats and liberal operatives to blackmail politico managers into running ‘the left’s version’ of stories.
I’m not saying they did. But it sets up the dynamic, which is why politico, if they were going to pose as an honest, unbiased news outlet, never should have accepted the funding.
And no, they can’t couch it as ‘payments for subscriptions that cost 10 to 100-thousand dollars apiece. What idiot would pay that price?
I’d like to pay 5-thousand dollars for a bag of potato chips.
If you and I can subscribe to politicians’ exclusive content for 100 or 400 bucks a month, why can’t all of these alleged federal agency’s list on USAID forms?
It’s fake paperwork. A lie, of course. The Biden administration was paying news outlets to do its bidding. They were true ‘accomplices’ in every sense of the word.
It’s not just a coincidence that politico and the AP are two newsrooms that democrat party officials and insiders seem to run to when they want to launder their latest story.... or try to shut down their latest scandal.
This also adds to the point I’ve been trying to make this week: the biggest scandal related to
USAID is not that it wastes billions on drag shows and condom parties in foreign countries. Yes, that -is-all wasteful spending that needs to be stopped. Every dollar of it is stolen and wasted US taxpayer money-
But- no-
The biggest scandal related to this agency is that its true mission- over six decades now-appears to be to act as a secretive, left-wing slush fund in which democrats and their allies have set up a system to steal tens of billions of dollars in US taxpayer money every year-and funnel it to themselves and their favorite leftist causes.
It's using our own money-against us- and against the fabric of American society. And it’s basically evil.
And so- shutting down USAID isn’t about cutting the budget.... It’s far more about shutting down a powerful, secretive left wing money laundering and propaganda machine.
And man-is shutting it down going to hurt the democrats.
Well, you can see how furious they are. In what sort of rage squats with unions and Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer and Jamie Raskin and all the rest of them were in: literally-raging- at their silly little rally at the treasury on Tuesday.
And by the way-if they think that went well …or was a political win for them.... wow...are they mistaken. They were trashed on both sides of the aisle for that ridiculous display. Even John Stewart and jimmy Kimmel mocked it as ridiculous.
It finally ends now, and it couldn’t be more wonderful.
On Tuesday-after a few days of controversy and discovery inside the USAID offices-
President trump put all two-thousand workers in that agency’s dc office on temporary leave. Stay out of the building.
The action was approved by Marco Rubio, the state sect, just so there was no confusion that it was an official and legitimate order.
They were told that they were being locked out of their agency computers and the larger agency system.
The agency has about ten-thousand staffers worldwide, and they’ve all been told to ‘stand by’...as the satellite offices of this agency, globally, have been told: tally up the number of American employees you have in your office...because we may want to downsize them or recall them to the states.
Awesome.
I love how Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, and Elon Musk are not screwing around, here. The leftists and their media accomplices want to squeal and pitch fits-
But the truth is that-every president since Kennedy-has had the authorization to do this sort of review.
The truth is- every secretary of state since-at least Reagan’s- has had the authorization to do this type of audit and review.
And none have.
We’ve heard from the numerous republican senators who have said they were blocked and refused- when they tried. People like Marco Rubio, himself, Joni Ernst, and others.
