How’s this for a new year’s resolution: democrats lied to you repeatedly in 2024. Don’t be dumb enough to believe them in 2025.
I’m stealing this from a USA today columnist named Nicole Russell.
She limits the lies to 2024, for some reason. I wouldn’t.
I’d say: Joe Biden and the democrats lied to you repeatedly. On everything and at every turn. For four years-
So-resolve to ‘stop believing democrats’ in 2025.
How much more evidence do you need that this is a putrid party that isn’t even similar-
Not even similar! - to the democrat party of Clinton, or Carter, or JFK, or LBJ- or whatever version of the party your parents or grandparents fell in love with.
This is genuinely a new era of ‘America-hating’ leftists who are controlling this party tent-
And that tent is filled with activists, donors, and lawmakers who genuinely hate what America stands for ..and hate you...the American people.
How many times do they need to prove this to you? By lying to you? Putting a flood of foreigners ahead of you? Flooding your communities with new criminals even as they refuse to deal with the current ones?
But Nicole Russell focuses on the lies and gaslighting in 2024, and primarily, the big lie that ‘Joe Biden is fine, and he’s running this country’.
she states:
They failed, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten.
I was saying it thru-out the Biden administration: in 30-some years of doing this, i had never seen another administration-democrat or republican- simply lie about nearly everything- to the American people.
And no. Not even Obama’s or Clintons. Both of those regimes lied when they didn’t have the public support for something they wanted to do-like govt run health care-
Clinton lied about affairs, etc.
But no-
This is the first presidential regime that chose to lie- as a strategy- about everything.
The question of ‘how are we going to spin this? Always end with: we’ll lie about it.
How are we going to answer these economists who say our spending bill is going to kick off runaway inflation?
We’ll just lie and say it won’t.
How are we going to explain the flood of illegals coming into the country?
We’ll just lie and say the border is controlled.
How are we going to explain the chaos in Afghanistan and how we got 13 service members killed?
We’ll just lie and say it was a near-perfect evacuation.
How are we going to explain why President Biden won’t start work until ten and then needs to be done by four?
We won’t. We’ll insist he’s the energizer donkey.
We’ve been calling Kamala an idiot for five years, how are we going to pretend she’s a great choice for president now?
We’ll just lie about it...like everything else.
Why are you still coming to me with these questions? The answer -every time- is ‘lie about it’.
And as for the biggest lie: that Joe Biden has mentally competent and in charge of the decision -making for four years-
I agree with constitutional scholar John Yoo-who says- we, the people, need a full accounting of what Biden’s team has been hiding...and the details of his presidential incapacity.
The dems are going to try their best to just sweep this under the rug and move on. The NY Times and Wall St Journal have both done big exposes, now getting closer to the truth: that from the moment Biden entered office, a close group of handlers was hiding him from the public and managing his deficiencies due to age and mental clarity.
It is insane that every single democrat in Washington DC allowed this to go on and covered up Biden’s decline.
In truth, people like Gwen Moore and Marc Pocan and Tammy Baldwin- being the backbenchers that they are-
Never get close to the president. They are rarely, if ever, in a room with him, and then they might get to shake his hand and move along...
But...they saw the same mental and physical decline that we did. They heard- all- of the gossip and ‘insider’ Washington DC scuttlebutt on the left. I am certain that Joe’s ‘state of being’ was a nearly constant topic of conversation in private left-wing circles and quiet dinner parties over the last four years.
Not even one of them had the integrity or the concern for the country, to speak up and demand answers.
Aside from Dean Phillips, who was the lone dem congressman who ran against Biden in this year’s primary-on the grounds that Biden was too old and out of it-
Aside from Dean Phillips- sincerely, people- not a single other democrat made so much as a ‘peep’ about it over 4 years. The other DNC and congressional leaders-had- to know the truth...and even the back benchers like Baldwin and Pocan ‘have eyes and ears’ and had to know full-well Biden had ‘lost it’ and wasn’t really doing the job.
They are all culpable here. Every democrat who didn’t speak up or ask for answers.
And now- the mad dash is on by Biden’s handlers and the radical left-wing groups to get as many last minute ‘bleep yous’ in place...for the American people.
They have Biden pardoning thousands of prisoners- including 9-11 terrorists. They’ve got him insulting the public by giving awards to the most well-known America-haters.
They’ve got him making last-minute moves that will do even more damage to the economy and the border.
Joe Biden is leaving office in the sort of disgrace that I’ve never seen a departing president ‘wear’ before. Not ‘as he left’ or ‘as a legacy’.
When the top democrats and his handlers
Pulled the plug on Biden’s candidacy-they also pulled the plug on any ‘decency’ that they still possessed, as people, and as Americans.
Today, we are told that Joe Biden plans on giving two major speeches to help ‘define his legacy’ before he leaves. A last gasp attempt to portray himself and his time in office as a great and consequential president.
Or- maybe he’s going to declare the US constitution ‘null and void’ in his final days. Whatever his handlers have plugged into the prompter, this dope is going to read to the American people.
They could literally have him declaring martial law on January 12th, and he’d just read it off the prompter.
I’m not predicting he will. Don’t label me some Alex jones type.
But you democrats in the audience: do you really think that if his handlers typed it into the prompter- Joe wouldn’t just ‘read
