This will be a good test for Mexico’s relatively new socialist president: Gloria Sheinbaum.
It was just a few days ago that Sheinbaum allegedly agreed to help secure this border in this new Trump era. He threatened 25 percent tariffs on Mexico if she and her government didn’t get their act together and cooperate in the effort to end the political war over our southern border.
Sheinbaum blasted the tariffs, but also apparently, agreed she would start blocking the caravans coming up from Central and South America as she always had the ability to do on-their- southern border. The much thinner landmass that they share with Guatemala.
If you question that: Sheinbaum ‘flipped on a peso’ when joe Biden asked her to slow the flood of illegals about five months ago- so that he and the dems could pretend that the flood of illegals at the border was slowing.
It wasn’t slowing. Joe’s fake border fixes weren’t working. She colluded to slow the flood of illegals until. Until. After the election- and then they resumed.
Sheinbaum’s army was literally blocking migrants from moving northward on Joe’s orders-until the election was over.
If she can do that- she can block them permanently and not allow
it was just last week that Trump said he and Sheinbaum had a very productive conversation and that quote...she has agreed to stop migration thru Mexico and into the United States.
Well, fifteen hundred people just started a new march. Will she stop them, or not?
The good news here is: these immigrants who started their walk were telling reporters: we know Trump is going to end the Biden border app- and so- we are hoping to arrive in person and get thru under Biden’s open borders-before trump can close them.
What’s encouraging about that is: they already know that ‘the way is shut’ when trump takes over. Don’t even try getting in because you won’t.
The message is already spreading across the globe, and the election was only a month ago.
This is also great news!
I told you that Eric Adams and Kathy Hocul, as the mayor and governor of New York- have been saying that they -will-cooperate with president trump’s mass deportation program- so long as it’s about deporting the illegal criminals.
Folks-the latest estimate is that Biden’s open borders have dumped over 58-thousand illegal criminals into New York city.
This is just New York city: it has 58-thousand more criminals to deal with- thanks to Biden’s open borders. And many of them are violent Latin gang members, of course.
And so- yesterday- mayor Eric Adams showed some common sense. Showed that -he-at least- understands the significance of the election results-
And he said to leftist New Yorkers: try to cancel me if you want-but I’m cooperating with Tom Homan.
That is a remarkable piece of audio, given where Adams and other democrats ‘were’ on this illegal immigration issue just a year or two ago.
If you don’t know- Kathy Hocul is one of the most socialist progressive governors in America.Her political pedigree-and group of supporters-should dictate that she be ‘pulling a Pritzker’ and vowing to block trump’s mass deportations.
Instead, she too, has said: the criminals got to go.
And oof- did the pro-illegal crowd just suffer a case of ‘bad timing’ on this question of whether dem mayors and governors should cooperate with ice.
Everyone sort of missed this-but- a very important appeals court ruling just came out of the ninth circuit court of appeals out west.
This is the appeals court that is famous for ignoring the constitution and making kooky lefty rulings.
It has gotten a little better since trump made it a more balanced pool of judges with some appointments in his first term-
But folks-the liberal 9th circuit just ruled that Seattle and Kings County officials could not block ice’s efforts to deport illegals out of their airports.
Let’s view this ruling against the backdrop of what Tom Homan, Trump’s incoming border czar, has been saying: he-will- fight back against sanctuary lefties who try to block or frustrate his mission.
Here’s an appeals court making a ruling that reinforces the long-term federal truth that: the feds oversee immigration and deportation law-and it is illegal for the locals to stand in their way.
Let’s hope that all mayors, county execs, and dem lawmakers hear about this ruling: you can refuse to cooperate with ice-but you cannot stand in the way of their mission.
This is just the beginning of a new era in which -hopefully- we will get back to acknowledging simple truth in this country: that mass deportations are an entirely appropriate and rational response to mass lawlessness and illegal immigration of the sort of Biden and the dems have engineered over the last four years, here.
It’s idiotic that the debate over illegal immigration has even reached this point in this country.
It’s now ‘the norm’ to ignore decades of carefully crafted immigration laws and enforcement measures- and allow millions of people to defy those laws every year?
Come on.
How did the country even ‘arrive here’? At this place?
As one pundit put it recently: if mass deportation is a ‘hateful notion’ as trump opponents claim it is- then maybe the Biden regime shouldn’t have allowed a massive influx of illegals.
Because-given the scale of the problem Donald Trump is now forced to address- mass deportations are the only rational answer.
As part of Biden’s ten to fifteen million illegals- one out of every eleven is a criminal. That’s the Biden regime’s own govt stat, now.
That’s a million deportations-just to get the criminals out.
This is a massive undertaking-and ice only has about six or seven thousand officers...so they aren’t about to deport the 10 to 15 million illegals joe allowed in.
But they can deport the million...and whatever other new arrivals they run across while doing their jobs. And they should.
Let’s hope that Biden’s lawlessness and the crushing and terrible effects of it- have ended this silly ‘emotional’, tug at the heart-strings approach to illegal immigration that the pro-illegal, America-hating crowd had duped the American people into believing.
This idea that we cannot ‘feel for their situation back home’...and not let them flood into here with no questions asked and no need for a careful immigration policy.
