With the election over, Dems back to screwing their own constituents

I love how...now that the elections are over.... democrats can go back to screwing the voters and doing terrible and unpopular things.

Folks-it has been a week since the election was decided, and already, California governor Gavin Newsom has made a move that will raise gas prices in California- again-

To the point that-even if the rest of us in the other states might get a break on fuel prices as Trump starts to drill, drill, drill...Californians won’t. Newsome intentionally waited until after the elections to screw them and saddle them with more global warming fees.

Meanwhile, in New York, the equally radical and rancid Kathy Hochul, is ramming ahead with the nation’s first congestion pricing plan for Manhattan.

This is taxing anyone who wants to drive in downtown Manhattan to combat congestion and global warming.

And no, it won’t work.

It’s a plan that was percolating even before hoe-cull was elected governor, but it’s been wildly unpopular...

And so...she’s decided to just lower the fee slightly...pretend she’s listening to the public.... but just ramming ahead, anyway.

New York state is about to start charging drivers a new $9 toll to enter Midtown Manhattan.

Gov. Kathy Hochul moved to restart the contentious congestion pricing plan, arguing it will help fund MTA upgrades and ease crowding and pollution on city streets.

Hochul had abruptly paused the program just before it was set to go into effect in June with a base rate of $15 — and then relaunched with with the lower fee just before President-elect Donald Trump’s administration had an opportunity to block it.

Critics argue the first-in-the-nation toll — which was first approved by state lawmakers and then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo in 2019 — is just a cash grab for the MTA that’ll saddle New York City drivers with yet another fee.

And apparently-Hochul and her eco-warriors wanted to get this into place before trump and the GOP took over congress and could pass a law banning such congestion pricing.

This is a dumb idea-and it is a very regressive tax- meaning that it hits the poor people and under-class the hardest.

Those who can afford it-the least- will be harmed the most by it.

Dumb idea.
