Biden's federal workforce ballooned by over 120K

Jay Weber Show transcript 11-7-24 8:10am

Get this stat- from a Wall St Journal editorial: under Joe Biden – the federal workforce has ballooned by over 120-thousand federal workers.

This clown and his ‘big govt progressivism’ have added 120-thousand federal jobs, salaries, and benefit packages onto the backs of the American people even as he was going around screwing us up and adding new financial burdens in other ways- like swamping the country with illegals we needed to pay for.

This is offensive-and it has the Wall St Journal editors calling on Elon Musk to cut them back- and go ‘bigger’ if he’s really put in charge of reforming government and finding savings.

I’ll save you the minute and granular details, but my friends-every single one of these agencies grew by somewhere between 10 and 20 percent.

And for what?

It’s across the board growth of government for no specific or stated purpose-and so it proves that today’s democrats simply want to ‘grow’ government. They want to put our existing regulatory agencies on steroids....as they take power over them and hope to build a new totalitarian era in which we-the people- are simply swamped over by government.

And as the editors say: Musk is the perfect person to do this because he and his businesses have been endured the burdens of so many of these agencies:

Yes. Musk told a few great stories about how space-x had to waste all sorts of time and money satisfying the federal regulatory agencies before they could get federal clearance to splash rockets down into the ocean off Florida and Texas.

Space X- honest to god-needed to do studies related to whether sharks and whales might be killed by the falling debris....and whether the concussions might make sea lions go deaf.

Those were real demands from our EPA and Fish and Wildlife and other govt agencies.

It proves again that- no matter how much you are looking forward to seeing Biden and Harris and this entire rancid regime leave- you still can’t despise them enough.

Jason Miller is one of Donald Trump’s senior advisors, and so he was asked in an interview yesterday, what will Trump’s first order of business be?

"With executive orders and things you can do with the presidency, some things you can put back in place ... All of the secure border policies that we had with President Trump, he can simply flip the switch and put those back into place just like they were before," Miller said.

"When we think about energy exploration, how we get back to drilling, which ultimately, then, will bring down prices, bring down inflation, he can do that on his own," he added. "Other things, of course, will take legislative action and things of that nature but right away President Trump can put so many things into place and again, that is why people are so optimistic and so upbeat about what their personal finances with their personal safety can look like. He's done it once before, he'll do it again."

Lower energy prices are one key to lowering overall prices, correct?

Most people in the audience understand this but-the cost of the electricity and fossil fuels that it takes to create a product and transport it to market- are a significant factor in the final cost of that product.

Higher energy prices are one of the biggest reasons ‘everything’ is more expensive now. And even if inflation subsides- it’s one of the reasons that the costs of things...still aren’t likely to go back down.

They won’t because the cost of the raw materials and the energy and transportation costs to make and ship and pick and pack them...are going to remain high.

And so-instead of pretending that ‘price gauging’ is what’s keeping the prices high as a very dishonest Harris campaign did-

Trump understands that one way to start easing prices is to lower the costs of power, energy, diesel, and gasoline that are used to make and transport these products.

Miller is correct to say- drilling more- will help lower prices.

And as for the open borders: President Trump can order them ‘closed’ on day one. He can cancel joe Biden’s idiotic and illegal ‘border app’ and stop the flights of illegals into the country-immediately. He can reimplement remain in Mexico and the safe-third-country rule immediately.

And then-in the coming weeks-he can get tough on other nations who are refusing to take their illegals back-and cut their federal aid down to zero or put sanctions in them until they relent...etc. All these things can be done via executive order-including- starting to build the border wall again.

The supreme court clarified during the first trump era that yes- yes- some of the national defense budget can be skimmed away from the military and used to build border walls because that is an act of national defense.

And so-even if congress doesn’t want to immediately cooperate with trump in his first 100 days to fund more border wall-he can resume the effort by himself.

Trump and his closest advisors are seasoned veterans this time around. They went thru all these battles in ‘term one’ and either won court cases or found the work-around and the right mix of policy adjustments to do it-

And so- I do expect immediate results on the border.

Crossings might not be down to ‘zero’ within a week-but the changes will be immediate and dramatic.

We must stop the America-haters from remaking this country into something they can steal.
