Dems bemoan Kammy's economic message

Jay Weber Show transcript 10/30/24

I love this headline from The Hill: Democrats are alarmed that Kamala Harris’ economic message isn’t breaking thru.

No kidding.

It can’t ‘break thru’ in the final days of the campaign if she’s not talking about it, either.

If the closing argument is Trump is Hitler...and that’s what the democrats intend to pound at voters over the next five days... well then...no...

Kamala’s ‘economic message’ isn’t going to break thru.

But what tickle me the most about that headline is- it presumes...or indicates...that Kamala Harris-has- a coherent economic message- and she doesn’t.

The woman has put forward precious few ideas or actual proposals when it comes to the economy- and what she has put forward includes...price fixing...an entire menu of new taxes on corporations, investors, and individuals...and massive new regulatory burdens for businesses of all sizes.

Are they sure the democrats really want voters to know about that? Before they vote?

Folks- yesterday- Jamie Dimon of JP Morgan used profanity to describe his disgust at the Biden/Harris ‘economic plans’.

For those who don’t know- Jamie Dimon was-not long ago- hoping to be appointed ‘treasury secretary’ of Kamala Harris won.

So-how does he go from that to- swearing over-the crushing regulatory burdens that Biden and today’s democrats have put on banks and businesses?

This was an interesting rant.

He was speaking to a conference of bankers in New York-and said- quote:

Which is the main -practically evil- invention by Liz Warren and the democrats to allow them to control our financial sector -ultimately- in any way they’d like to.

So- the democrats have lost Jamie Dimon...and he’s now telling friends that he doesn’t believe he’s about to be tapped for a cabinet position any time soon.

Translation: he doesn’t think kamala’s going to win-and so now he can be more honest about the crap storm of regulation that the democrats have dropped onto the financial and business sectors over the last two decades.

the strategists in the Harris campaign are denying any of this is accurate.

No, no... Kamala’s been offering a positive and contrasting economic vision for the country.... blarty- blar...blah blah.

But she’s not.

I’d point out, again, that her critics in this instance are -her fellow democrats! All sorts of people who have run campaigns and won them. Unlike kamala.

These criticisms are valid. The problem is- about 100 days ago-when the top dems got together to kick Joe Biden down the steps and lock him in a freezer-

They didn’t flesh out an economic plan...or agenda. Instead, they only pretended to have one from the very start- because-

Consequently- they decided that they’d be able to beat Donald Trump and republicans with a highly organized and lengthy campaign of ‘joy’ and ‘vibes’.... Instead of any actual agenda.

It wasn’t just an ‘economic agenda’ that they didn’t flesh in. Kamala Harris has-famously- not put out any sort of specific agenda- on anything.

We are five days away from this election day. It’s likely that about one quarter to one third of the voting has already taken place...

And the Harris/Walz campaign still! Still! Don’t have any specific agenda planned!

Yes, i know that, if you go to ‘kamala’s a dingbat.com’ they have cut and pasted virtually all of Joe Biden’s shakey agenda....onto Kamala’s page...

But...that’s just been a place holder for any-actual- detailed. Thought out. Forward looking American agenda.

She has none.

Meanwhile-the truth of the matter is that the Biden/Harris agenda- has cost all Americans-dearly. Both in the loss of freedoms and national security and law and order protections-but also in the form of lost investment revenue, lost savings, high costs on everything.

STOP VOTING DEMOCRAT!
