I love this: the NY Times is claiming republicans and Trump are ‘weaponizing’ kamala Harris’ positions from the 2020 election against her.
What?
Weaponizing?
Do you mean ‘informing?’ voters of her 2020 positions? Because that’s all we are doing.
Does the times really mean ‘reminding?’ voters of Kammy’s 2020 positions? Because that’s all we are doing.
And- if this woman really is going to be ‘president’ in her own right and following her own ‘ideology’ instead of Joe Biden’s- isn’t it important that the American people know what Harris really stands for? Where she really stands on the issues?
This is another pathetic instance of the NY Times editors and reporters showing their incredible bias.
If this was the democrat side of the aisle accurately reminding voters about what a GOP candidate really ‘stands for’ …. they would be characterizing this in a completely different way.
This would be ‘democrats reminding voters about trump’s past positions.
Instead- it’s the other way around -and they are accusing republicans of ‘weaponizing’ Kamala Harris’ own stated positions against her.
Folks, the only way that would be accurate is if- gee-
If all of those positions that Kamala Harris was taking in the 2020 race were inauthentic. If she was just ‘pretending’ to be a socialist...and that extreme...to win the primary. Correct?
And over the last few days- that is! - what these media outlets in the accomplice media have been suggesting.
See-they don’t want Kamala Harris to have to ‘own’ any of her real opinions or positions. And so, they have a vested interest in pretending that Kammy was just ‘pretending’ to have the extreme positions that she took during the 2020 campaign when she was running for president.
They think this is the way to give the dems an excuse to ‘divorce kamala’ of her past positions.
Well- is it any better to claim that Kamala Harris is such a fraud that -in 2020- she ran for president on a pretend set of ideals- just so she could trick voters in to giving her the nomination?
Does that make Harris sound anymore ‘admirable’ or ‘credible’ as a candidate, now?
All her policy positions were misguided and extreme-and she knows she can’t be honest with voters-now!
And so, is it admirable or ‘normal’ that kamala the chameleon can simply change positions again- and completely flip flop on her 2020 positions-because it helps her trick voters now?
How would the NY Times handle it if a republican suddenly reversed nearly every one of the positions he or she has held for decades?
For heaven’s sake- Donald Trump has done a little bit of ‘sideling’ and ‘nuancing’ when it comes to his position on abortion- to sound more reasonable to voters-
And this very newspaper and every other liberal news outlet ‘lost their minds over it’ when he did it. Kamala Harris and her campaign are literally doing a 180 on virtually every single position she held in 2020-and the NY times won’t call her out on it?
Instead, they find fault with republicans?
Come on.
Ben Shapiro put out a partial list of the issues that the Harris campaign has already flip-flopped on now that she’s the dems nominee.
Banning fracking ❌
Assault weapons mandatory buyback ❌
Ending private health insurance ❌
Decriminalizing illegal border crossings ❌
Bailing out rioters ❌
Defunding the police ❌
Jailing marijuana offenders ❌
And more.
These are all-total flip flops.
In 2020- she said several times-on tape-she would ban fracking and fossil fuel drilling on federal lands.
On govt run health care- Kamala Harris was a co-sponsor of the legislation and touted it heavily. End all private insurance and go to a socialize system. Was her constantly stated position.
She was in favor of a mandatory. Mandatory. Gun buyback program in which we Americans would have to turn in our guns.... but don’t worry.... the govt would give you some money for them. Those pronouncements are on tape:
One that Shapiro missed is: hag Harris has repeatedly supported slave reparations, even though the idea is ridiculous and unworkable, and 70 percent of Americans oppose it. Here she is, on that:
These democrats-cannot- accuse us of misrepresenting the real -and ludicrous-positions that Kamala Harris has taken on these issues over her nearly two decades in national office-and so- they’ve pivoted to: she was just trying to trick voters in 2020, and that’s not what she really believes.
Is that any better? People?
Kamala Harris is not a moderate or a centrist-in any way. She is in favor of the open borders her current regime engineered-and would keep them open. She and Liz Warren are already telling democrat groups that President Kammy will give these ten million illegals who have been let in under Biden- amnesty- if Harris gets into office.
None of this is made up.
Instead-she’s lying. Harris and her team can pretend that she doesn’t support govt run health care now-but in 2019- she ran to endorse Bernie sander’s bill. She was an original co-sponsor.
Now we’re supposed to believe that she didn’t know what she was sponsoring. Or that she was just pretending to support it?
This clown was also one of the original co-sponsors of AOC’s idiotic and socialistic ‘green new deal’. It calls for a govt takeover of the nation’s energy industry. It calls for govt implemented ‘socialist’ programs. It comes with a 10 to 90-trillion dollar price.
Kamala ran to sponsor it. Did she not know what she was sponsoring? Or is she a big govt socialist of the sort that she has -proven to be- over the course of nearly two decades?
Who is reinventing history here?
Because it’s not our side of the aisle.
How can we ‘weaponize’ Kamala Harris’ true voting record and political record ‘against her?’
The editors at ‘issues and interests’ point out today that- even the rhetoric that Kamala Harris is currently using on the stump- speaks to her authoritarian nature.
They’ve noticed that every time Kamala Harris talks about ‘freedom’ in her speeches, she’s actually talking about having the left ‘take freedoms away’.
Kamala Harris never talks about the freedom of Americans not to be raped, killed, stabbed, or otherwise victimized by illegal aliens who shouldn’t even be here.
She never talks about the freedom of Americans to have safe communities and streets. Folks-when Kamala Harris’ idea of ‘freedom’ is putting you under the yoke of socialistic and authoritarian government...she’s a woman who doesn’t care about freedom.
She and the dems want to insist that Donald Trump wants to be a dictator.
Kamala Harris is-literally-out on the stump using the slippery language of a dictator.
