There’s been a lot of focus on the sort of illegal lawfare that the democrats have been using to target Donald Trump-
And he has spent a lot of time saying, ‘if they can do this to me, they can do it to you’.
Well-it’s important to acknowledge that it is ‘already being done’ in numerous ways. Today’s leftists and democrat lawmakers are already using their levers of power-and their positions within the legal and justice systems- to cancel and destroy any Americans-and any businesses-who they do not like.
Last week-there was a ‘much ignored’ story that should be at least as outrageous as the bogus trump verdict. Virtually no one heard about it because the trump verdict was so ‘all encompassing’. It sucked all the air and attention away from any other ‘current event’ or ‘happening’ late last week...
But-the new outrage is Chuck Schumer, Liz Warren, and other democrats calling for the legal prosecution of oil executives for quote “price gouging”.
I put it in quotes because there is zero evidence that price gouging is going on among these companies or with our oil and gas prices.
The Biden regime has limited drilling and exploration. It has blocked pipelines and refinery upgrades. The dems own policies are the main reason that gas prices are so high-and Schumer and squats with unions know it-
But-here they are-willing to sue CEOs and destroy people-personally-
As well as destroy companies if they need to- all to forward a political lie and try to get themselves and their party out of hot water for their bad policy decisions.
This is also- staggeringly outrageous-and yet, no one’s really calling them on it. Not even from the right. Because, as i say, this hasn’t become a big story, yet.
But here were these two nasty, rancid stooges, and 22 other putrid democrats, sending a letter to the justice department accusing oil companies of gouging and demanding Merrick garland and the corrupt Biden justice department- prosecute-the companies’ CEOs.
Now come on: how ugly and unamerican is this demand?
But this is today’s left: via Fox Business News
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., led a group of 23 Democratic senators who wrote letters urging the Justice Department to take steps to prevent and prosecute alleged collusion and price fixing between the oil industry and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
The letter comes after the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) gave the green light to ExxonMobil's $60 billion acquisition of Pioneer Natural Resources but blocked former Pioneer CEO Scott Sheffield from serving on Exxon's board amid allegations he attempted to collude with OPEC to raise oil prices.
