Are you getting sick of seeing Joe, Jill, and Kammy in Wisconsin, yet?
I am-and its only April.
Jill and Kamala seem to be stopping here about once a week. This is now overkill-
And its overkill that echoes back to 2016- when Hillary Clinton didn’t stop in Wisconsin-once- and ended up losing the state.
The Biden team knows any win this fall is going to -have to- include Wisconsin. It’s truly a ‘must win’ state for them-
And so- they’re going to be overdoing it with stops here between now and November.
And the ‘validation’ here is – how much joe is stopping.
Folks- Joe Biden doesn’t have the energy to do much in the way of campaigning or flying around the country to do campaign stops. For most of his presidency, he has only rarely ventured further west than Pennsylvania.
And I’m not joking.
Check the travel logs: this president stayed close to the white house. Close to home. Took only two or three overseas trips, and when he did, needed four days to recover.
But even shorter travel on a private plane seems to take too much out of this president, and so, until the campaign season really started to kick in a few weeks ago- Biden wasn’t traveling west of Pittsburg.
Now they are needing to dedicate more of his time to campaigning-and he’s still mostly only going about as far west as Madison....
Where he will stop again-today.
And on -this stop- the White House says Biden is going to roll out a second attempt at large-scale student loan forgiveness-
Which-in truth-is simply sticking the u-s taxpayers with the bill. It’s shifting billions of dollars in loan debt-off of the people who took out the loans-and onto the backs of the US taxpayers.
These democrats and their accomplices in the media are intentionally using loaded and carefully chosen words to describe this- that misrepresent what it is: this is not ‘forgiving’ or ‘erasing’ debt. It’s trying to buy votes by shifting the debts of one group of people-onto the bulk of US taxpayers.
This large-scale stunt has been shot down once by the supreme court as unconstitutional and illegal: not within the powers of the president or the executive branch-
But- Biden’s team has come up with another scheme-
Another pretend reason- that they can do this.
I’m telling you now: this claim isn’t going to be any more constitutional than the first attempt- and Biden’s team knows it-
But it’s going to be another high profile ‘attempt’ that opponents may or may not have time to challenge in court-before fall.
All the left needs people to think-they are going to see their debts erased, this time.
It’s a direct ‘replay’ of Biden’s first attempt.
The first time Biden floated this everyone knew it was unconstitutional-except for the low-information voters who are being tricked by it.
Sure enough.
The Supreme Court shot it down.
And so-in a tough election year- why not run the same trick? Gaslight the same morons?Float the same false promise to them-again?
That’s what this is.
It’s another political stunt that desperate democrats hope gullible young voters are dumb enough to believe.
And the Biden team-is-getting desperate. They’re starting to lose some major ‘mouthpieces’ in the multi-media. Everyone from Steven A Smith to actor Michael Rappaport....to Dwayne ‘the rock’ Johnson is starting to make it known to their followers ‘I’m not voting for Biden this time’.
You might have seen this over the weekend-because fox news was making a big deal out of it: The Rock did an interview in which he practically apologized for endorsing Joe Biden in 2020- and said- it won’t happen again.
So, that’s The Rock-clearly-expressing regret for associating himself with Biden...and he’s globally famous.
But then there are people like Senk Yoo-gur, who’s a far-left talking head on a lefty podcast channel, or something, called ‘the young Turks’.
He shocked his co-host by admitting to his lefty audience that he’s thinking about voting for RFK junior for the first time:
It’s interesting to hear Yoo-gur-flat out- call Biden corrupt to the core- and the guy who’s pretending to stand up for democracy even has he and the dems engage in every undemocratic and anti-democratic strategy.
I’ve at least got to give Senk Yoo-gur points for being honest. Most left-wing pundits aren’t, these days.
Oh-and as for the panic over Joe Biden possibly not being on the Ohio ballot-
Don’t make too much of this. It is bound to be worked out.
But- first think: Biden’s not going to win Ohio, anyway, and so, if the worst-case scenario is that his name doesn’t even appear on the ballot-that would be embarrassing, but not fatal to his campaign. It’s not like he’d be losing the electoral votes from a blue state they are banking on.
But secondly- this is the sort of thing that’s going to be worked out between the Ohio sect of state’s office and the DNC well before it’s a real issue, you’d think.
With all the other struggles and setbacks that keep popping up for these democrats, it’d be fun to see Biden actually left off of the ballot in an important state.
Again, last week-we had a wall st journal poll show trump is still leading in six of the seven swing states.
Over the weekend- an Emerson college poll showed Biden within ‘single digits’ of Biden in new jersey-which set of another round of panic.
Folks-
Trump is still behind Biden in New Jersey by seven percentage points. Biden’s lead is still significant.
But- this comes as Donald trump has been suggesting that he and his team think they could even win New York and new jersey in fall-
Which the democrats and DC insiders scoff at-
And i do, too-
But it’s the exact sort of swagger and ‘strategic’ rhetoric of the sort that Donald Trump uses to keep his opponents off balance.
You can tell- even a poll that still shows a seven-point gap-sort of rattled the dems over the weekend.
It must be because-for decades now in New York-they have heard Donald Trump make some bold or what they consider ‘asinine’ claims.... only to have them turn out to be true later. Or ‘come to pass’ later.
And so-trump says ‘we think New York and New Jersey are in play’...
And the east coast elites and dems in those states immediately react with a scoff: oh, come on. That’s insane. New York and New Jersey are not in play’....
Are they?
And then they run off and start checking numbers and doing more polling.
There’s no doubt Trump is ‘in their heads’ at this point.
