The fallout related to his release of the ‘Twitter Files’ on Friday has refocused on the FBI on day three or four of the fallout coverage.
We’ve mentioned this in passing as part of the segments I’ve done...but...it -does-need to be highlighted that the FBI-as what is supposed to be an unbiased Govt agency-played a significant role in prepping twitter execs for any coming political hits on joe Biden...and over the course of weeks...getting them into the mindset in which they would see the Hunter laptop story-reflexively believe it’s Russian misinformation-and work hard to block the story from appearing anywhere on their site.
The chief content exec who killed the story- a true weasel named Yoel Roth- is now even saying that it was wrong to blackball the laptop story...but he did it because he and other twitter execs had had repeated meetings with FBI agents who had ‘amped them up’ to look for any Hunter story and squash it.
This is direct proof that the FBI bureaucrats- under the trump admin at the time-were so motivated to try to get Biden into office and democrats back in charge of the DOJ-that they colluded with the Biden campaign to head off any last-minute bombshells related to hunter’s laptop.
Remember- the NY Times finally wrote a big news story on what was on the laptop in October of 2020, but the FBI new about the laptop-and what it contained-well before then.
Our FBI. During that summer and fall of 2020. While trump was president. Had possession of hunter’s laptop and knew what was on it.
They knew the voluminous number of photos, emails, business transactions, files etc...had to belong to hunter. Had to be real.
They knew that photos and video-alone-on that laptop showed clear Hunter Biden criminality...and they knew that the emails and documents pointed strongly to business-related criminality.
FBI executives and Christopher Ray- knew-what they had-by the time the NY Post finally ran a few stories related to the Biden family corruption it detailed.
And instead of verifying it. Instead of taking it public and trying to head off the election of a man who would-clearly- be corrupted and a candidate for Chinese and foreign blackmail in the white house-
Instead of doing the right thing for the country and the people...these FBI officials-instead-hatched a scheme to pre-emptively ‘train’ Facebook and twitter content controllers into helping them kill off the scandal if it was going to pop up.
This is what we know the FBI’s activities were now and by Yoel Levin and mark Zuckerberg’s admissions.
Both men have testified that they had meetings with FBI agents who told them: be on the lookout for Chinese or Russian hacking schemes spreading lies...and both men said.
(The FBI is denying this now-but)
Both Levin and Zuckerberg, who are both rabid lefties-have said they were told- be on the lookout for anything related to Hunter Biden, more specifically.
In short-the FBI primed the pump and helped the Biden campaign cover up the Biden family corruption story and keep a lid on the hunter laptop as ‘disinformation’ until after the election.
Every one of these agents and their higher-ups should be fired.
And we have the details. This isn’t conjecture. We know the actors.
Super scummy, and the house republicans should investigate, interview these agents and social media execs, and then fire every agent and ‘superior’ who was involved.
Clapper and Brennan were the biggest slime bags in shoes atop the Obama political Intel operation and genuinely they should both be in jail for pedaling the smear on Trump and Russian collusion. They tried to rig an election and cost the American taxpayers 40 million dollars for a special investigation into trump and Russia that they-knew-was bogus. They knew was totally invented. Both men should be in chains in a federal prison.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk is serious about asking the remaining twitter employees to put in long hours.
He has taken some of that ‘excess space’ that they have at the corporate headquarters and turned them into bedrooms that the employees and engineers who are burning the midnight oil can use -if they need to.
And the response by some of the employees is classic: it is precisely what you would expect from a group of people who have never worked a long day in their lives.
Greg, how many long shifts and odd overnights have you spent over the course of your 40-year radio career...trying to find a spot to lay down to get a little sleep?
Anyone and everyone who has worked a ‘real job’ in radio has done it. A few of the stations will have had jocks over the years who have pulled in an old couch ....and management has allowed it.
Or you went and sacked out in the lobby because it had a loveseat in it...
Radio is often a thankless gig with long hours and that’s part of the job if you want to do it.You don’t-have-to work at that station, or in radio, but if you do- don’t whine about the hours.
I guarantee you that we could make a list of hundreds of jobs in which the people doing them would have -loved it- if management had provided some beds for those days you needed to put in long hours.
Police and fire stations normally do. They are public servants who aren’t nearly making what they should be...etc...
But Elon Musk -who is committed to rebuilding twitter into a better media platform-has been honest with the employees he inherited and has told them.... there are long hours ahead...especially for the engineers and the coders and so...if you don’t like it...leave, and I’ll pay you three months’ severance...
In addition, he has added bedrooms for those employees who might find themselves there at odd hours ...and needing a break...
And this is being seen by the lazy employees, former employees, and Musk-haters as evidence of employee abuse.
Musk gave them the option: either commit to being part of the new twitter...or I’ll give you three months’ pay to leave.
Their choice.
He could have simply fired them with no discussion and no severance.
Instead, he put the decision on them: do you want to recommit to this job, or would you rather leave?
Nearly a thousand chose to leave.
Okay. It was their choice.
I don’t know maybe it was the way I was raised and the series of tough, thankless jobs that i did as a young person from farm work to kitchen work to warehouse work...
But I think that musk went out of his way to be fair to those employees. If WISN was undergoing major changes that I couldn’t support...and they gave me the option to either: adopt our new vision or take severance and leave... I’d love that option.
Wouldn’t most of us?
It would have us deciding our own fates. That’s awful?
Realizing the remaining staffers will be putting in long hours for a while...and bringing in beds-an actual place for them to lay down and Musk is engaging in ‘employee abuse’.
