The 451st Best Male Swimmer beat a Women's Olympic Silver Medalist

Jay Weber Show transcript 3-18-22

I’m trying to get to a few stories today that you aren’t likely to hear or see covered elsewhere if you are the average American consumer of news.... including these two: a women’s group has now filed a civil rights complaint against the University of Pennsylvania over Lia Thomas-the transgender swimmer who has been shattering all sorts of records after transitioning to a female.

And only doing so- well into her college years. Thomas’ body had the time to develop into it’s absolute ‘male peak’...biologically...correct?

He waited until he was in college-at about 20 years old. Which is when men hit their physical and biological peak. He’s got the broad shoulders and the toned, athletic body from years of swimming as a boy and a man. He was a college swimmer  at the same school on the men’s team...and was mediocre by any standard...

Only to transition to ‘Lia’....and she’s now ruining the sport for biological women.

And she really is. There’s nothing really to argue about here-in terms of whether it is fair or reasonable to call Lia Thomas a ‘woman’ and let her compete against biological girls.... The only question is whether society is going to allow it or tolerate it.

Isn’t that’s what is up for debate here? Because no one really thinks it is fair or reasonable that a man at his physical peak can start taking some hormones and call himself a ‘woman now’ and hop in the women’s pool to compete.

We are all kidding ourselves if that’s going to be deemed ‘fair’.

It’s also not a question of Thomas’ personal ‘right’ to compete.  First, she has no real ‘right’ in that regard, and second, his ‘right’ or ‘desire’ shouldn’t Trump the rights and desires of literally-every biological girl-who wants to participate in this sport-at that level.

It's ironic that the leftist activists want to label it a civil rights issue for Lia Thomas. When it’s really a civil rights issue for every. Other. Girl and woman.

This is an issue that is going to have to end up in front of the supreme court, because it joins that list of issues that simply isn’t going to be resolved any other way.

The activist left and transgender community is going to keep pushing for inclusion. And keep pushing for transgender athletes to be viewed as ‘normal’. As ‘real women’ or ‘real men’. And the rest of society is going to keep pushing back, when those things that the activists believe are ‘transgender rights’ collide with, harm, or marginalize everyone else’s kids, and standing in society.

They don’t deserve ‘special status’ or ‘special treatment’, though, and that’s what Thomas is getting, and it’s what these activists’ groups -really want: special status and special accommodation-for their societal sub-group.

This will have to end up in front of the Supreme Court, and I'm glad that an organized group has brought the civil rights complaint.

Thomas is set to compete at this year’s NCAA championships-for the first time- as a man or a woman- and she will no doubt shatter every standing record in her events.

Everyone knows it.  And so, biological women can only compete for ‘second best’ when she’s in the pool. And everyone knows it.

This is like saying Lebron can take some hormones and play on a college women’s team. After all- he never went to college. He’s got four years of college eligibility.

Does that sound fair? Does the NCAA-and the world-need to honor that if Lebron starts feeling feminine?

The activists keep insisting that everyone else is selfish or uncaring here-when its’ Thomas who has been acting like an arrogant bulldozer, rolling over everyone else’s hopes, dreams, feelings, and opportunities.

She could still swim. She could still enjoy that as her sport. Why does she need to be on the women’s team-dominating in the pool-to enjoy it?

This is like someone who takes up karate but can’t enjoy it unless they are punching children.

Why is Thomas’ ‘joy’ wrapped up in beating women?

After decades of having the left wingers and their activists insist that we need to elevate and honor women- now? -in this new woke cry-bully era? -they insist we all need to accept the fact that the ‘best women’ are ‘men’.

The USA Today was soundly mocked this week-as they should be- for making a transgender admiral one of their ‘women of the year’.  Proving again, that in today’s America ‘men make the best women’.

USA today editors wrote:

"Rachel Levine is one of USA today’s women of the year, a recognition of women across the country who have made a significant impact,"

Levine serves as a DHS assistant secretary now-but if she spent her career making that ‘significant impact’ mostly as a man...can she transition late in life-after the career has been largely built-and then be lauded as a ‘woman’ who made a significant impact?

She’s going down in history as the "first-ever female four-star admiral" health services. Again-it took a man to be the ‘first ever woman’.

Does the left really think that this is ‘elevating women’?

And can’t the rest of us acknowledge and empathize with the struggles that sexually confused and mis-gendered people go thru without having to all buy into biological falsehoods or woke BS. Men can have babies. Or a man in a wig taking hormones is now a woman?

These bullying activists ask too much- which is why even their activist leaders admit that this recent transgender push to bully the rest of is backfiring.
