From CBS 58 in Milwaukee, three people earlier today have been cited for riding scooters on the freeway, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to westbound I-94 at 20th Street around1:00 p.m. for a call of three people riding Lime scooters on the freeway. Deputies found the scooter riders and gave them a ride off the freeway at W. 25thStreet.
The scooter riders told deputies they were visiting from Texas and were using their GPS to navigate to the Harley Davidson Museum on the Lime scooters.
All three received a citation for moped/cycle on freeway where prohibited which carries a fine of $204.
