EXCLUSIVE: A pro-Palestinian protester punched a Milwaukee Police officer in the face as a group of 50 gathered to protest a Senator Tammy Baldwin event at the Avenue in downtown Milwaukee, law enforcement sources tell "The Dan O'Donnell Show."
The officer was not injured and the suspect took off before he could be arrested. The Milwaukee Police Department did not alert the media to an assault on one of its officers and has told "The Dan O'Donnell Show" that the incident report for this attack is still being processed and will not be available until later this week.
Senator Baldwin's campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
The 50 protesters marched around downtown Milwaukee for at least an hour Sunday afternoon, demonstrating outside the Milwaukee County Courthouse and down Wisconsin Avenue before descending upon the Baldwin event inside the Avenue.
