WEC Member Admits She Believes Her Job is to Rig Election Rulings for Dems

Ann Jacobs, a Democrat-appointed member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, appeared to confirm on Twitter Monday that she views her role on the Commission as making election decisions that are biased in favor of Democrats.

On Friday night, Jacobs called Republican gubernatorial nominee Tim Michels a "ghoul" for saying during his debate with Democratic Governor Tony Evers that COVID-19 relief "created an entire class of lazy people."

"Tim Michels: 'We created an entire class of lazy people during covid.' No, Tim - people DIED from Covid. People were disable [sic] from Covid," Jacobs wrote. "What a ghoul."

In response, I quote-tweeted Jacobs' tweet with the message "For people who think the Wisconsin Elections Commission has been or even can be fair to Republicans, this is a member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission talking about the Republican candidate for Governor."

Jacobs responded to that by accusing me of being "very confused about what it means to be a *partisan* appointee to a state commission." The very strong implication of this is that she does not view her role as making decisions on election-related matters in a fair manner that comports with Wisconsin law, but rather to do everything in her power to aid Democrats and put Republicans at a disadvantage.

This, it goes without saying, is a rather stunning admission.
