The Washington Post was forced to publish an embarrassing correction indicating that its breathless coverage of former President Trump's phone call with a Georgia election investigator was totally false. On the same day, charges were filed against two men in the assault on Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick that thoroughly rebut the media's narrative that Sicknick died after he was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol.
