Within hours and even minutes of hearing the news that President Trump and the First Lady tested positive for Coronavirus, literally hundreds of left-leaning people with verified Twitter accounts began tweeting their wish that Trump suffer and die.
"The Wire" star Dominic West even told "Good Morning Britain" that he "did in the air with joy" with joy when he heard the news and even when the host tried to get him to back off and say that he felt badly for the president personally, West said instead that he was feeling a lot of "schadenfreude."
"I think the phrase is 'What goes around comes around,'" he said with a smile.
Meanwhile, "The Wire" creator David Simon took to Twitter to share his theory that Trump is faking his positive test.
Journalist Kurt Eichenwald said he hoped Trump suffered a bad reaction to the virus...you know, for the sake of others.
A number of these ghouls aren't just mindless writers or entertainers, either. Several are involved in politics and even worked for Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren.
Even if they weren't wishing he died, prominent liberals and journalists were celebrating the karma of President Trump testing positive.
