Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman says one person is dead after a train carrying Republican congressmen to a retreat in West Virginia struck a dump truck on the tracks. The deceased, Grothman says, was in the truck while a second person in the truck was seriously hurt.
Grothman does not believe anyone on the train was seriously hurt.
Grothman was a guest on The Dan O'Donnell Show immediately after the train crashed and told O'Donnell that he saw someone fall to the floor of the train when the train struck the truck, but that he was unaware of any other injuries. After O'Donnell got off the air, Grothman told him that he had learned one person in the truck had died.
