Regrets? Everyone has them. It’s easy to be haunted by something we said, did or failed to do – or, had said or done to us. Being unable to forgive ourselves or others, though, locks us in prison. Our quality of life suffers. We (and others) don’t deserve the grace of second chances – but Jesus Christ died so we could. We can yet learn to walk in love and forgiveness. Todd Cioffi, senior adviser with the Calvin Prison Initiative, relates experiences of searching for grace among those whom society has deemed unforgivable.
