Biden proudly admits that he’s breaking the law.

The Biden White House simply cannot defend the President’s unconstitutional move to extend the eviction ban, but when you have the lefty media on our side as accomplices, it doesn’t matter.

I’ve been talking about how this grand American experiment crumbles -if it does in the future. It will be because one side of the aisle, or both, decide that they aren’t going to follow the rules, laws, and constitutions that have been agreed upon by past generations...and the huge article of faith that America is founded on: that we will all honor those rules, whether we like them or not, for the benefit of a peaceful society.

And if we don’t like them- we will still abide by them until or unless we can go thru the agreed upon process to change them: new legislation, etc.

The way this republic falls, is if one side of the political aisle, or both, decide to stop playing by the rules we’ve laid out to build this society.

Well, one big part of the founder’s vision is that there would be outside, private interests that would hold our elected officials and fellow citizens accountable, if they did not follow the law or constitution. Correct?

And the biggest outside, non-government ‘gatekeeper’ was the free press. Correct? The news media has been called ‘the fourth estate’ for as long as this country has existed. They would hold the powerful accountable.

So, what if they don’t?

We now have a huge mainstream media complex that has decided they’d rather just be mouthpieces and accomplices for one side of the aisle. And so, they simply aren’t going to hold them accountable when that side of the aisle is on power.

CNN yesterday, excused away Biden’s move to intentionally violate the constitution as the sort of ‘fudging’ that is done in dc.

No. No.

Biden’s move was much more than that: it was the first instance that I can point to, in which a sitting president and his party openly acknowledged that they were not going to honor their oath of office...and were going to intentionally violate the constitution.

Joe Biden said it during a news conference on Tuesday: most constitutional experts say i can’t do this, and lawsuits are likely to follow, but at least those being evicted will be given more time.

That was an open acknowledgement that Biden knew what he was doing would violate his oath of office-

And- but the way- and- trample all over the powers and duties of the congressional branch of government. I can assure you that-in any earlier era of American history- if a president had done this, huge numbers of congressmen would have objected on both sides of the aisle, saying, ‘this president cannot ignore our powers and just do what he wants. Any new eviction ban needs to come from us.

This time? Crickets. And from the GOP side of the aisle, too sadly. Joe Biden proudly admits that he’s breaking the law. His party leaders cheer and hug....and republicans stand mum?

Phillip Klein is suggesting that this should be seen as enough of a constitutional outrage that McConnell and republicans should use it to queer the infrastructure deal that’s supposed to be voted on today: refuse to participate in any further congressional actions until the Biden administration reverses course on a violation of the constitution that they are openly bragging about.

I think that’s a fine idea. Where is the GOP outrage over this?

Sadly, once again, it speaks to the rotten nature of Washington DC. You know that McConnell and McCarthy and the GOP leadership got together and said, ‘if we stand up for the constitution and insist this eviction ban ends, we’ll be accused of wanting to push poor people into the streets, so let’s just not get involved here.’

And that’s pathetic.

There still things that are more important than political calculations and standing up for the constitution and the country- and standing up for what’s right- are a couple of them.

Instead...republicans didn’t even react to this.

A president openly admits I’m violating my oath and I’ve been told by legal scholars I can’t do this, but the lawsuits are weeks or months away, so whatever.... I’m doing it.

And the Republican reaction is nothing.

And the outrage our founders would have expected from the fourth estate is: nothing. Because they are left wing accomplices now, not a free and honest press.

Jen Psaki was only asked one or two questions on this yesterday, and her answers exhibited a breathtaking dishonesty that any honest reporter in the room would have called her out on...and made the top story of the day but instead? Nothing.

Folks...Psaki couldn’t even -begin! -to explain how Biden’s actions were defensible or constitutional.

Biden’s top legal guy said he doesn’t on Monday.

By Wednesday, Psaki was pretending that, oh, well, we found a way. She’s blatantly lying.

Folks, her lies didn’t even square with what president Biden said on Tuesday:

It’s another glaring instance of how-if the democrats and their accomplices are simply going to ignore the laws and state and federal constitutions.... we don’t have a republic.

If this becomes standard operating procedure for them- America is screwed. It’s over.

We are living in a lawless society, at that point. And lawless societies don’t last long.

It’s also an instance in which you can flip the script and say: imagine if President Trump were doing this on something conservatives wanted.

His move to use defense department funding to build the wall-was- upheld by the supreme court but let’s imagine it wasn’t.

Can you imagine if the supreme court had ruled that president trump could not use billions of dollars in defense money to build the wall...and Trump’s reaction was well, screw em’. We’re just going to use it, anyway. We’ll get most of that wall up before new lawsuits make their way back to the supreme court. That’s two years from now. I’ll have the wall built.

Imagine the nuclear bomb sized constitutional crisis that that would have set off...in this country...as a trump hating media and dc bureaucracy , by god, defended the constitution and the separation of powers.

This is the exact same instance, my friends. Trump’s move was deemed constitutional. Biden’s has already been deemed not to be.

The estimate is that landlords across the u-s have been losing 13-billion dollars a day...in rental payments. Payments they will never recover. And Joe Biden is acting like a dictator to keep the abuse going.

Here’s the bitter, ugly hypocrisy: it is this same group of democrat leaders-from Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer on down to AOC and Cori Bush and the lesser activists-

This is the same group of people who were calling Donald Trump a dictator.

Folks, president trump never violated a court order or ruling if it came down against him.He never ...plowed ahead and created the dreamer act anyway...like Obama did.

He never...ignored a clear supreme court ruling and defiantly moved ahead.

Which side has presidents who act like dictators?

The left.

And why do they get all sorts of political cover for it?

Because, like dictators, they have fawning followers and a powerful propagandist media on their side.
