Mark Cuban is finding out America DOES want to stand for the Anthem

I remember a time when the National Anthem played at a Packers, Brewers, Badgers or Bucks game, we all stood up out of respect for our Country we loved. I didn’t know if the person sitting next to me or three rows down was a Republican, Democrat, conservative or liberal. Black, White, Asian, didn’t matter, we all had one thing in common, we were Americans. That’s what I think what unifying is.

If the goal is unity, than why take away the one thing that unifies Americans?

Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks decision to not play the National Anthem has gained a lot of traction in the past few days. He actually made the decision back in November.

Cuban has been a supporter of players exercising their First Amendment rights to protest and of them doing so during the National Anthem in recent years. That’s fine.

What about the Americans who enjoy exercising their First Amendment rights to stand and support the Country we love?

If the goal is unity, I say we stand for the one thing we all have in common. America
