There won’t be any Peeps made for Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas this year ... or Valentine’s Day next year. Just Born Quality Confections, which makes the sugary marshmallow treats, had to suspend production due to coronavirus, and while limited production has started again, they are focusing now on producing Peeps for next Easter. “This situation resulted in us having to make the difficult decision to forego production of our seasonal candies for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day in order to focus on meeting the expected overwhelming demand for Peeps for next Easter season, as well as our everyday candies,” the company said.
