No, Obama can't take credit for Trump's booming economy

Obama wrote on Twitter, sharing a picture of his $787 billion stimulus spending package. “Eleven years ago today, near the bottom of the worst recession in generations, I signed the Recovery Act, paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history,”

This is a man trying to feed his Narcissistic Personality Disorder and nothing more. We can point to the day the economy started to recover, and without hyperbole or exaggeration. The markets and govt measures prove it. It was the day after Trump won office. Nov. 10, 2016.

Although Obama’s nearly trillion-dollar stimulus may have helped the economy recover from a major recession, economic growth had slumped to 1.6 percent by the time he left office. President Donald Trump’s tax cuts and regulatory cuts proved to be rocket fuel for the American economy now enjoying record high stock markets gains, wage gains, historic unemployment rates, and an expansion that is now the longest on record.

Want to know the irony in Obama's words? Minorities suffered more than anyone during the Obama years with low wages, high unemployment, and decreasing household wealth. Trump reversed that trend, and we now have historic low unemployment rates for blacks and Hispanics. Yet, liberals call Trump the racist. That's pure irony.
