I called around last night-and no kidding-this 5th cong district field could end up being Scott Fitzgerald and Chris Kapenga.Full stop. The others mulling are reluctant to leave WI, or have other considerations. Neylon & Nicholson are legit mulling. I wouldn't call them 'jazzed'.
Possible twists if this does turn out to be a small 5th district field of just Fitz and Kapenga: -It could actually lure Kevin Nicholson into the field. -It could be viewed as some wealthy business leader as a chance to slide in, spend a million, and buy the seat.
