It's not the rats that have people furious about President Trump's comments.
It's the Democrats.
As you know by now, President Trump ruffled as lot of feathers by saying Congressman Elisha Cummings should focus on his own city instead of complaining about the conditions at Border Patrol facilities.
The president pointed to rats, filth, and decay in Baltimore. And he pointed-out that Democrats control the city.
That's the problem. In polite society you're not supposed to say those thing.
The Wire is considered one of the best TV shows ever made. It focuses on drugs, crime, and filth in Baltimore. It's based on the stories from a former Baltimore Sun reporter. No one had problem with the show.
Everything President Trump said about Baltimore is true. It's just not polite.
