Senator McCain Stable After Surgery For Intestinal Infection

Arizona Senator John McCain is recovering after surgery for an intestinal infection.  McCain's office said he was admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix Sunday for the operation, which was related to diverticulitis.  The 81-year-old is in stable condition.  McCain has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer since last July.

For the past few months, he's been recovering from cancer treatment at his home in Arizona.
