It seems lots of folks are talking about the United Airlines fiasco where the carrier forcibly threw a paying passenger off of a flight from Chicago to Kentucky to make room for a flight crew that was needed in Louisville.  This story has some very interesting facts in it! For example, did you know there are actually some people who will intentionally attempt to book on an over-booked flight? Why? To collect free passage and sometimes even money.  Want to make sure you are never bumped? Fly full-fare first class.  Airlines hate to bump those people, and rarely, if ever, do.  WHO CAN WE DRAG OFF THE FLIGHT THIS TIME??

A computer system glitch caused thousands of United Airlines flights throughout major airports to be grounded Wednesday morning. The issue was resolved by late morning with some ripple delays still being felt at airports throughout the country. (Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images)
