I don’t know how many listeners are following the stories related to a long-time reporter for NPR writing a scathing expose last week- confirming everything that we, on our side, have known about their so-called ‘news’ organization for years: that NPR’s reporters and editors were ‘always’ liberal-but in recent years they have become rabid left-wing partisans only masquerading as fair minded journalists- and since it’s NPR the ‘elitist of the elite’ liberal news sources-NPR’s staffers have gone even more ‘activist’ than most other newsrooms.
This reporter’s name is Uri Berliner. He’s NPR’s senior business editor- and after working at NPR for 25 years- he couldn’t take the groupthink and the left-wing activism anymore, and ‘outed’ the entire operation.
He started with the fact that- of 85 national editorial positions- all 85 are filled by leftists. There isn’t a single conservative on staff-which includes him-by the way.
Uri Berliner doesn’t seem like a conservative ‘in the lion’s den’. He strikes me as more of a traditional liberal...and more of an ‘old school’ reporter... Who still thinks that news people and news organizations should strive to be fair and unbiased.
That makes him-completely out of step-with his own newsroom now
The latest is since Berliner’s expose’ of his own news organization-he has been suspended without pay for five days-and NPR execs are threatening to make it a permanent firing.
Folks-in short- NPR’s leaders are -proving-that Berliner’s criticisms are accurate.
Imagine how-over the last few days-NPR executives pretended to do some soul searching -and then decided that ‘their newsroom is fine’. It’s Uri Berliner who’s the problem.
Ah.
So- just a few weeks after NBC’s so-called newsroom proves that they will not tolerate one single republican on their staff and employ Ronna McDaniel-
We have NPR executives proving that -NPR- will not tolerate one single dissenting voice.
Wow.
This is the state of alleged journalism today.
But what those same NPR execs-did- decide to do- was hire a new chief executive who is an openly rabid trump hater. Middle America hater. Elitist snob. And ultimate Karen.
The search for this new chief director was already underway when Berliner’s op-ed came out, apparently, because NPR went ahead with the hiring of a woman named Katherine Maher- who is genuinely a nasty piece of work.
Some conservatives on social media are going back thru her tweets and social media posts- and Katherine Maher has a long history of spitting venom at republicans and conservatives-and showing her distain for middle America and all the ‘little people’ in this country.
her social media pages have her in a Biden hat. Cheering democrats. Trashing trump and republicans.
This is the person NPR execs chose to make their new CEO.
NPR and these leftist, fake journalists are playing the victim. NPR has a story claiming there are. Quote...feelings of anger and betrayal inside the newsroom. What weenies.
