Biden broke his oath and caved to the woke left. What's next?

Jay Weber Show transcript 8-9-21 7:40am

So... now that Joe Biden has caved to the activist left and extended the unconstitutional eviction ban- and broke his oath of office to do it-

Now the bullies are feeling empowered and are calling on Biden’s team to extend all sorts of other covid-era programs.

Some that he has the power to do, but also others that he doesn’t.

Before I left on Friday, the activist horde had already formed to insist that-by God- President Biden needs to cancel up to 50-thousand dollars in student loan debt for everyone.

And they said again, ‘just do it’. Who cares if it’s illegal because a president doesn’t have that power? Just do it. Like you did on the eviction thing.

See?

This is today’s bullying left. They are totalitarians on the march. They have no regard for our laws or constitution. They feel no need to follow them. They just want to roll over anyone and everyone who won’t give them what they want.

And by caving and unconstitutionally extending that eviction ban, Biden and his handlers probability thought it would release the pressure on them and the activist horde would be placated.

Instead- all it did was prove to the radical horde that Biden can be bullied.

And so now they want more.

You probably say that Biden’s team extended the moratorium on student loan payments until nearly next year.

Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer and squats with unions have been leading the activist charge to get Biden to cancel up to 50-thousand dollars in individual student loan debt, insisting he can legally do it, even though Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi both know he can’t.

Even Pelosi has said that such a move would be unconstitutional, and she just said it a week ago, and so we’ll see whether they all change their tune on that move soon.

But these activists are looking at everything: what else can we force Biden to do?

There’s already talk of trying to make the next big fight an extension of this ludicrous, overly generous, unemployment enhancer.

Anyone with a brain knows that it is keeping millions of able-bodied people from going back to work. Every set of data that we have from the states and the labor department proves that to be the case-

Including Friday’s great jobs report.

There is-no question-that we have moved beyond the time in which this extra 300 dollars per week enhancer is needed. We also need to put an end-date on unemployment benefits again. It was 26 weeks before the pandemic hit and was extended out to nearly 80....

Those regulations need to be snapped back to pre-pandemic levels, too. It’s set to occur on September sixth, when this ridiculous enhancer finally expires nationally.

And so, guess who’s circling the wagons and plotting strategy to have it extended?

The radical bullies who just realized that they can genuinely push Joe Biden around.

Mask mandates might be coming back -but it’s only in certain places around the country-and-

And more importantly- we aren’t seeing a new round of business closings or other government restrictions, right?

It’s not the need for a mask that put people out of work or kept restaurants and shops from reopening. People can work in a mask and have been proving it for a year now.

All of the businesses that were closed can fully reopen now. Safely. Even if they are going to require a mask.

We are in an entirely different place now, in our fight against covid. There’s no need to close anything, and we have nearly ten million jobs that remain unfilled. No one is going to be fired due to this uptick in covid. Businesses won’t close and cause layoffs.

And so- there’s no need for bigger unemployment checks, is there.

We don’t need to make room for huge numbers of unemployed, again. That part of the crisis is over unless there’s some ‘screamingly deadly’ new variant that pops up.

Everyone can get back to work. And should.

So that’s a fake argument: see? The numbers are surging again.

So? Grab a mask and get to work. You don’t get to sit home another year.

But Biden and his handlers opened a huge can of worms for themselves when they proved to the bullying activists that they-in the Biden white house- were willing to break Biden’s oath of office and engage in a nakedly unconstitutional move, just to pander to those bullies.

And instead of relieving pressure on the Biden White House-it is already creating more.

And it was both alarming and disheartening last week, to see a president break his oath. Do something that he admitted was unconstitutional, and doing it anyway...

And then to have the other elected officials in his party cheer and support it. Sickening.

To see Chuck Schumer hugging members of the socialist squad as if they’d just won a great victory...was sickening.

In any other era, the leaders of the house and senate would have been appalled at the outrage and stood up for their own constitutional powers.

In this era? Any way the left can win- they want to win. It’s all about raw power for them, now. And since today’s democrats hate the constitution, of course they’d cheer when its’s ignored in order to give them what they want.

Rich Lowry points out that it was clear Pelosi didn’t have the votes to extend the eviction ban in the house, and so that’s where it should have ended. If we want to follow the constitution.

But I’d point out that-for four years- every time Trump’s actions were determined to be unconstitutional by the courts, he honored that court decision and either backed off, or found a different way to do what he wanted to do that-was-constitutional.

In Biden’s instance-he just ‘did it anyway’. Blatantly and honestly, broke his oath of office and ignored the most important laws of this land.

And that’s unforgivable.

And impeachable if republicans had the numbers to do it.
